Don’t know how reliable this guy is but reporting CHO loan deal has been completed and will be unveiled by Tuesday

He also said he was in attendance

Just what we need IMO!!

Massive signing. The impact on his ability to stretch our strikers up the field can't be quantified, as well as free up madders more centrally.

It seems to be gaining traction.

There are many things going wrong at the club at the minute but how important would our new training ground be in terms of pushing Southampton and Newcastle out of the equation.

There are legs in this IMO. Unknowns? Chelsea might insist on Fofana being part of the deal. Might therefore be easier for player & Chelsea if he chooses Southampton.

But I can’t see us moving for CHO AND moving for Diop. Soumare for Diop ticks a lot of boxes, and allows us to keep little Wes another year…

Compared with money , not much at all. A loan , if he is interested , might work if we split the pay 50/50. He will want to play though , so who stands down? I cannot see a place for him when Barnes is fit.

Maybe RWB with Castagne or JJ dropping into LCB/RCB :dunno:

He plays inverted winger on the left but he’s also done a lot of games wide on the right.

Barnes could be out for longer than rodgers has indicated. But a right footed winger who is happy on the right would be good for us.

the question is whether he can recover his hunger

im also intrigued as why Chelsea would do business with us on him  if they see us as non compliant on making a fofana deal

Your saying our new training ground has no influence? That's random but fair enough. He plays RW as well, which is where I'll expect him to be utilised.

If we got him, I expect when Barnes is back that CHO would play on the right

When Barnes is out, I think there is a good chance CHO plays on the left, with Maddison in that wide right/coming inside role he played in during the last 3 months or so

I also sadly think money will be top. The way I see it:

1) Traditional  big club eg Liverpool, barca etc

2) money

3) size of stage eg European Cup team

4) quality of life for family eg London,Barcelona etc

5) Traing facilities

This is another Player Brendan thinks he can save from oblivion. He hasn't done too well with the other recruits he brought in with the same idea in mind.

He's young and talented but the bright lights of London is clouding his judgement. I think I'd prefer if we went out and found another raw kid with the hunger to succeed.

Who are they?

This would mean Wes in the other direction?

He is very favourably rated next to our current right wingers.  lol

I'm probably echoing most of what's already been said in this thread, but there are plenty of question marks around this potential signing and I just get the feeling that there are better options out there to be looking at than CHO.
