Slipping guys, No one going to link Rodgers past connections to Chelsea for their 10 injuries?

Chelsea's injury list

Almost an entire team...

  • N’Golo Kante (thigh)
  • Reece James (knee)
  • Edouard Mendy (shoulder)
  • Wesley Fofana (knee)
  • Armando Broja (knee)
  • Mason Mount (knock)
  • Ruben Loftus-Cheek (ankle)
  • Raheem Sterling (hamstring)
  • Christian Pulisic (ankle)
  • Ben Chilwell (hamstring)

they also have a history of this. Both clubs doing something the wrong way

Someone said Potter doesn’t do any conditioning work, as he believes it all comes during intense training sessions.

Wouldnt be surprised if Brent was doing the same, after the dodgy doctor rumours flying around before they eventually sacked the last guy

whatever is going wrong at chelsea was happening long before potter.  But they have a history of mismanaging injuries.

Worth noting though that 2 of their players consistently broken…. came from us

I make it three Chilwell, Kante and Fofana and 4 if you include Drinkwater from previously.

Wow we don’t half need all our injured players back, gives me some optimism of finishing out this season strong. Might not feel like it now but have to be positive

What’s the latest on madders return?

Hopefully next weekend but more likely the following. doesn’t sound like he’s all in judging by what Brendan said. perhaps  the doc they saw in London gave him the all clear but the player isn’t convinced.

It’s a horrible situation looking at how many players are out recovering from serious injuries. We simply cannot compete in this state. It has to be called out for what it is A CRISIS. The difference between us and Chelsea is obvious. They can and are chucking lots of cash at it to get reinforcements. How many we get only time will tell. I have a strange feeling a few hero’s will emerge from this crisis. 🙏🏽

Chelsea spending 200m and are struggling with injuries.

Not a free pass for Rodgers as he maybe part of the injury problem.

But need to be some understanding that injuries aren't helping us.

I think its more the correlation between how we were perceived to be so 'lucky' in injury prevention to so 'unlucky' with sustained, reoccurring and consistent injuries.

Adding that the reasoning and belief last season was the extra game load of which don't have this season yet are still suffering.
