Shambles at Blackpool.

Least Barrow won in the end.

Great win for Grimsby and Bradford.

A few other interesting results too. Swansea losing at Oxford and Stevenage currently winning at Reading.

They were 2 up (Swansea) last I looked!

Luton, Blackpool, Hull, Stoke beaten by lower teams too.

We'll be next.

Out of the 18 grounds I have to tick off, 12 of the sides went through tonight. So we’ll defo get one of them at home 😂

Came in to say this. Absolutely nailed on. Albeit that should mean we'll probably go through.

I think it's a soft landing spot for him this season ad he's the hot fave to take over from Stelling when he gives up the gig. That being said the man is an excellent presenter, both on TV and radio, the more exposure the better!

In terms of this draw, is the second round seeded? I am certain in the past it's been seeded so that we had an away game guaranteed, with the unseeded team at home? Assume it's not that.

Also, are we def in the Northern section or have we been slipped in South?

I make it 11 championship clubs going out last night. pretty mad.

When you look at some of the line ups it's understandable.

Nearly every club in that league seems to think they have a shot at play offs and that's their sole focus for the entire season.

People bang on about Premier League teams not caring about cups as much, but Champ sides are significantly worse given the carrot that is promotion to the prem!

At this stage of the season its ridiculous if clubs are changing teams due to focusing on the league. It's probably more to do with using it as a pre-season type game for squad players and giving them minutes. Sad because there is always a chance in the league cup for a championship club to go on a decent run.

Doesn’t help there is a run of mid week league games coming up due to the winter break coming up .

Going to end up with a load of Premier League teams knocking out League 1 and 2 teams in the next couple of rounds rather than a chance Championship team getting to the quarters or beyond.
