Mentioned, in less dramatic terms admittedly, elsewhere.

Anything to it? Maybe but so what. Many a company where the finance director can't stand the sales director etc etc. There are a number of pressures within the club, personality clashes etc, and tempers get frayed as a result I'm sure. I wouldn't read too much into it personally.

That said, it'd not surprise me if Rodgers is running out of merit points and someone snaps, bringing matters to a head.

I don't think it will be long before the Rodgers toys come out of the pram. He is swaying towards using this as an excuse for failing where in reality it is his poor performances as a tactician and manager.

I'm certainly glad that the club are making him earn his spending money after a woeful summer last year.

Rudkin MUST go. He's the one who signs the contracts off both in terms of length AND monies. HE is responsible for this nightmare not BR. BR can be backed by the club but Rudkin has to take responsibility for this I'm afraid.

Don't need the article to tell me the bleeding obvious.

If the recruitment team/Rodgers are bringing in players informing Rudkin that they are of a certain level of ability to warrant that level of wage & contract but turn out to be crap, then Rudkin is not solely at fault.

If Rudkin is taking decisive information from anyone other the scouting team, he needs the sack for that alone.

@ARM1968 , your itk got any info on whether this has legs?

Nothing more than I have said. It will all come out in the wash I imagine. Can’t see the situation continuing much beyond 4/5 games - unless there is a dramatic on field renaissance, which doesn’t look likely.
