Just watched the highlights again on MOTD and I realised that I didn’t for a second appreciate Maddison’s goal because of what came after. The boy is so good and it’s a shame we won’t see much more of him.

Watching MOTD it infuriates me that nobody in punditry or the media is talking about how shit Rodgers has been.

Brendan’s got all the media on his payroll

Them Saints were bloody brilliant weren't they. If that Adams doesn't get man of the match then there's no justice. Three cheers for Adams!

Could be a shot in the arm or straw that broke the camels back.

Losing today should have been the final straw.

Not sure a league Cup tie has any baring on his future if I'm honest.

As he's not gone tonight I'm unfortunately convinced he stays until the Fword match.

Sadly I think you're right.

We look absolutely shambolic at the moment and I don't see that changing until Brendan has gone. I don't even want to go to the Forest match the way we are playing.

Neither do I but part of me really felt with Top there again today witnessing another defeat and the reaction from the fans at full time he may pull the trigger.

The flip side thinks with this mini 16 week season and then essentially 6 weeks off 2 games before the window opens there's a chance he clings on for a while and then we have 6 weeks to bring someone in, work on transfers for Jan etc.

But of this continues I can't see how he survives past that game if we lose the place will be toxic.

It's early enough for us to salvage. I worry they're going to let the house burn a bit longer though. What worries me is I have no faith in these spineless cucks in a relegation battle.

We're already the same price as Brentford for the drop. That's unbelievable.

I feel for him, he seems to be putting in his all and looking good.

If I was his agent I'd be pleading with him to get away from this Brendan Rodgers shit show. But then again - He may well catch Southgate's eye, because he looks like he can play under a defensively minded talent destroying travesty of a manger. Perfect.

(I genuinely don't think I have ever felt so bitter and angry about a Leicester manager - we won the FA Cup, finished 5th twice FFS, but I just can't stand the bloke)

edit - really sorry for posting this this in the positives thread. I'm drunk and angry. Football for the likes of us is cyclical. And we have had the best of times - the absolute best.
