The problem isn't that we can't win this game. We absolutely can. But certainly not with the absolute shite that has been served up so far this season. We have seen the players we have available do great things, it just appears Rodgers is unable or unwilling to do those things any further.

The question is - will Rodgers change the approach?

I thought we looked ok pre-season. For 60 minutes we were great against Brentford. Rodgers obviously tried to keep a consistent approach. We know he believes in his style. But surely he knows Chelsea will crush us playing our possession football. Will he be willing to try something different, or is he going to keep it consistent.

Not looking forward to this one bit. Chelsea being out to prove a point and us being in disarray is a combination which could see us humiliated.

A team with balls would go there and rattle them...

5 nil Chelsea

None of the previous 122 matches against Chelsea since 1905 has seen a 5-0. Only three games have featured 5 goals (or more) for one of the sides, and they were all ended 5-2. So any winning margin of more than 4 goals would be a first between the clubs. Chelsea's win percentage is about 48%, so the runes don't look good, but we're unlikely to lose by much, if the historical stats are anything to go by.

My first XI is suited for this game. Kante, Kovasic and Koulibaly are off, Alonso is not playing. We lock the midfield, they're going to play with 3 at the back. We just need to contain Mount, have Ndidi in front of our CBs and KDH doing the dirty job. Gallagher and Jorginho are unable to deploy gegenpress. Everytime they'll lose the ball they'll be extremely vulnerable to counter attack with both Vardy and Iheanacho making runs behind them especially if Tuchel goes with a high line.

...I see what you mean, but with their, WBs deployed, are we not vulnerable to overloads coming from both channels due to being so narrow!!!

Wondering if Chelsea fans will start singing Fofanas name during the match!.

They will and it'd be like waving a red rag to a bull if it were the average opposition. However, given the hunger of this current side I wouldn't be surprised to see a few of the Leicester players join in and the rest of them curl up and cry.

Will he be watching, and if so, how will he react to any goals scored?

Btw, not only are we almost bottom of the PL, but we're also rock bottom of the subs used table!

On the off-chance we take the lead I'd like to see no celebration from the players..pick up the ball and get another goal..celebrate if you get a result..

If we score I want to see some stern words from our leaders on the pitch - knuckle down, dig in, go again, it's not celebrating time

Tuchel most probably will stick to 3-4-1-2. Cuccurela (can't see Chilwell starting) on the left and Loftus on the right. Let them make the runs, they can't cross the ball in the box, both of them will try to link with Sterling and Havertz with ground/through passes. Castagne and Justin can cover our CBs by leaving space for high crosses into the box and double teaming Sterling (Castagne) and Havertz (Justin).

As I said, we limit Mount's activity with Ndidi as Southampton did to us with Maddison. It's all about Rodgers being stubborn and scared all the time. This lack of confidence from Rodgers has a direct impact on the players.

Chelsea odds only 5 / 11 - Looks to be a simply £110 bet to win £50

And this is how bookies make millions. 5/11 is one of the trickiest odds out there. False sense that you can even bet a small amount like £110 and win £50. My advice, stay away.

The season is barely 3 weeks old and already we've a player out for 6 months minimum and 2 other players who have had to have scans to assess the severity of their injuries. AAAARRGGHHH

Who are the two having Scans? Please don't say Madders is one of them?
