We’ve no fight, we’ve no inspiration, we’ve no defensive organisation and carry no threat in attack.

The side is unsettled and the manager has all but lost interest.

It’s a recipe for a disaster, and there’s zero chance we will get anything from this game, probably not even a shot on goal. At the moment it’s a hopeless situation, statistics show we’re completely ineffective at both ends of the field, which is relegation form. Plus all of the off field distractions, goading from the Chelsea fans RE Fofana will just spell for a rancid afternoon.

And to add insult to injury, Chilwell will 100% score in front of the Leicester fans and give it the big one.

I’ve started drinking now in preparation.

I think your analysis is probably about right, the shame of it is we are probably all thinking the same, too some degree, but hoping this will be the match too see an upturn, how many times will we think like this till something changes, its truly gut wrenching at the moment, come on the Foxes let's get our s"%t together, smash Chelsea, and see a Tuchel meltdown, "again" for a change.

.. everything is pointing to a Chelsea win, worst case,  a masterclass!!!

This is where the typical Leicester comes in, as we will proceed to turn them over.  On the day, if everything goes right, 5-2 to us.

There is no reason why we should walk out of there with any thing, and every one expects a defeat, but it is going to be one of those days, you just know it will be.

Time to put your bets on  the unexpected, the price is going to be long, and it is not impossible, after all, we all know what impossible feels like!!

Love your optimism 442 😁

Play this, be brave, and let's get something from this. We have nothing to lose. Start fast and Chelsea's hangover from the Leeds game will knock their confidence.

Spot on. Just hope Madders isn't injured

Ndidi

KDH or Praet

Tielemans

Maddison

Vardy

Iheanacho

...pretty narrow, very much a Hassenhuttl setup, and we have seen what happens to them!!!

Have you placed a bet with a 9 - 0 victory to Chelsea at 500/1, not sure why anyone else other than the aforementioned would go down this route. There was a previous post where someone suggested a Vardy and Barnes combination upfront, it certainly sounds more positive and front foot, than the Rodgers school of tactical management.

It's a free hit. Never expect to go to Chelsea and get anything. The reason it's important this season (apart from the Fofana debacle) is that fact that we only played for 60 mins against both Southampton and Brentford at home! terrible results.

There is having this attitude and there's having the attitude of rolling over, having your tummy tickled.

It's a 'free hit' (whilst I understand what you mean I hate the term), so treat it like one, go to upset the establishment, go to rough them up, give it a ****ing go, you know, like we used to.

We can lose by trying, attacking, having abit of swagger, endeavor, excitement and something we can get behind, or we can lose soaking up possession, being cautious, playing boring, playing 'nice', by (apparently) 'controlling the game' aka playing negatively.

Again, it was a marketing buzzword that many cringed at but 'Fearless', it suited us, it was everything we were about, in the last few years we've been more like 'Fearful'.

We all know how it's gonna go tomorrow, tummy's tickled it is.

Jesse Marsch explains how Leeds beat Chelsea:

"We said don't play backwards, don't play conservative, keep being on the front foot, keep playing, playing brave and they did that. It was really, really confident and strong performance."

No problem

Brendan will be the antithesis... "Keep the ball and play backwards if needed, play conservatively, play safe, if in doubt play backwards, waste time...."

Would love to see some dogs of war attitude at the minute and not just writing off the next 3 games.

Waseleski, Huth, Walsh, Elliott, Taggart, and even Maguire. Nobody in our team now with these characteristics. Simply too nice to play against.

Makes me laugh how footballs snobs come up with all the 'anti-football' BS.

How we go about games, how the majority of other teams go about games because of the need to play in this nonsensical possession based game, 'soaking up possession', 'controlling the game' by passing sideways and having possession for possession sake, going nowhere with it, that is anti-football.

The games gone.

I just hope this cycle is near it's death.

Don’t get more wrong I am all for slick, intricate one touch passing moves but also let’s have  drive, thundering tackles,  powerful headers, commitment, you shall not pass attitude.

Guaranteed to lift the crowd…..and let’s face it that is half the battle at the minute.

RB Castange

CB Evans

CB Soyuncu

LB Justin

CM Mendy - Wilf has been dire and along with KDH should have enough energy and quality on the ball to make a difference in the midfield.

CM KDH

RW Praet

AM Maddison

LW Barnes

CF Nacho - need him to hold ball up and he’s really the only forward who can

My first XI is suited for this game. Kante, Kovasic and Koulibaly are off, Alonso is not playing. We lock the midfield, they're going to play with 3 at the back. We just need to contain Mount, have Ndidi in front of our CBs and KDH doing the dirty job. Gallagher and Jorginho are unable to deploy gegenpress. Everytime they'll lose the ball they'll be extremely vulnerable to counter attack with both Vardy and Iheanacho making runs behind them especially if Tuchel goes with a high line.
