Even the smallest of dreams, like the swimming pools, steam & sauna areas and private player rooms at seagrave.

Poor old fofana.

Wonder if Vards & Evans has had a word in his petulant little ear that would be a nightmare for little Wes he’d be hiding under his bed  !!😂

Not a chance.

It's just a job to these players and doubt they would begrudge a team mate their "dream move".

Like the Tielemans situation, everyone knows he has wanted out for ages but he plays every game despite being piss poor.

I bet he is well liked and obviously respected by his team mates.

Maybe if we had a few Roy Keane types they would give some "advice" but our players are ALL timid.

Nearest we've had to Roy Keane of late was Kasper Schmeichel. I seem to remember reading about him giving Mahrez what for when he was up to his antics trying to engineer a move away.

It is their job but the current system works well and looks after them

if a few players start doing what fofana is then there is a danger that the system could fall apart - I think our experienced pros care more about their fellow pros a little further down the pyramid than mr fofana seems to …… they may well remind him of his responsibility to the wider professional community as well as himself ….

The most telling line in the Telegraph article is this,

‘analysis by Vysyble shows that Leicester’s wage to revenue ratio has been the highest in the Premier League during the four seasons from 2017-18 to 2020-21.’

The stadium is too small and the commercial department are second rate, as I keep saying. The wheels have fallen off " the model" on top of that. The club is looking like a tired old banger right now.

I noticed a few posts in the rodgers thread talking as if he already gone, I then went to sky sports and bbc websites nothing there, checked here nothing, but now you posted this.

So how did the guys in that thread already know? lol.

As predicted though last week of the window, LCFC style, perhaps deliberate to prevent Rodgers getting signings.

Good, thanks for the money Wes, you're a total **** but this was mutually beneficial in the end. Now **** off and you'd better start worrying about the away game at Leicester.

So that's that? (Sharpey wouldn't state it unless he was 98%)

At least it's out of the way now, and maybe we can make some signings.

Next summer, its too late to make sensible signings now.

This is his Instagram post as a fake one posted all he wants to do is leave lcfc and go to cfc. So he's clarified that was fake although probably his true feelings.

Unbelievable how many people are upset by this to be honest.

Not really. It's the passion and sense of betrayal you feel as a football fan.

The fact in cold hard business terms it might be a 'good move', it doesn't change how you feel as a passionate fan.

It’s great business for us, (the St Etienne % aside)

We’ve much bigger problems that will depend on how our season goes than Fofana.

70m up front feels like we've bottled this a bit.

Interested to see how achievable the add ons are and to what value though.

Makes no difference though I suppose really, as either Rodgers will fritter away on shite any money he gets from the transfer or he'll get nothing to spend as Top thinks he's a bit of a useless ****.

Its not really great business, Fofana made it so we sold. If he didn't make it so obvious we'd be sat here saying we don't let him leave for anything less than £100m. He forced the hand and now we had to save face and accept something we probably wouldn't have if it wasn't for his actions. The thought of Amartey and Evans for the rest of the season makes me shudder each time I think about it. Pull those seat belts on fellas it's gonna be a bumpy ride!
