A new manager needs new players starting with a good winger and a good goalkeeper. I don’t think theres much chance of the club dipping their hands into their pockets, if we are bottom 3 by January I reckon they’ll just stick with what we have rather than trying to spend their way out of an unlikely situation. Its safety first on and off the pitch.

We have enough to survive, but it'd be a knife's edge. And that's if a change happened now. Which it won't, because the board has completely lost the plot.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 8 October 2022 Posted 8 October 2022 Real possibility. Has to sack the manager then get Dyche in. Give the players some backbone.

On a positive note that season in league one was a great adventure and also the catalyst for the last 10 years. Thanks 1

How strange for a man to be born into a billionaire family (actually, I'm just assuming there) but is resisting paying a rumoured 10M+.

eastendfox Posted 8 October 2022 Posted 8 October 2022 We've been obvious favourites for relegation for some weeks and I've no idea why some folk still seem to think we're too good to go down. Our defence isn't even Championship standard. 1
Mr.Bingles Posted 8 October 2022 Posted 8 October 2022 We don’t have the funds. We don’t have an owner whose heart is in it. We don’t have the right manager. We don’t have a board willing to make the changes needed. The perfect storm. Championship football awaits.

Yep - the parachute payments will cover our debts but we would have to scale back massively on the playing side. If we didnt get out within the first 2 seasons we’ll end up stuck down there for a decade at least.
foxfanazer Posted 8 October 2022 Posted 8 October 2022 I've made peace with it. At the very least it 100% guarantees he won't be here anymore. Could get some pride back in my club 1
Stevosevic Posted 8 October 2022 Posted 8 October 2022 Actually going down after all the progress made to be taken seriously as a club. Pathetic. 1

It's Top and KP who'll suffer. We as fans will see the rebuild through. 1 year, 2 years, 20 years....we'll be back in the PL at some point. Top won't be.

norwichfox Posted 8 October 2022 Posted 8 October 2022 I'm resigned to the thought that after this season I'm unlikely to see LCFC in the Premier League during my lifetime. Fcuk you Rodgers.

Got nothing to do with the emoji pal.
