He admitted we had offers last summer but the club turned them down. You can almost guarantee we'd have said ourselves a few million in wages and would have received a higher offer back then compared to now.

 

We're obviously not privy to whether these are actually true or not but the rumours are we've turned down decent enough prices for Soumare, Daka, Thomas, Iversen, Faes and there's probably more over the years. Probably £50m of income there that we'll receive about 5% of that if we're lucky. Never mind they've probably cost more than £100m in wages and fees

The money the club has lost through allowing players (or their agents) to run down contracts and leave for free should be treated as gross misconduct – with the only appropriate response being dismissal. In the corporate world, losing such sums might even result in an external fraud investigation, not just an internal one. 

Yet, at LCFC, the person responsible has received a promotion.

Top is so thick he's watched his little haemorrhoid personally cost his business more than half a billion in direct transfer losses, unnecessary wage spending, loss of TV revenue, selling players below market valued overpaying for players. 

 

Rudkin is probably directly responsible for 80% of our losses this decade, I don't think there are many individuals in the country aside from crappy chief execs at massive corporations that have lost so much money. It's insane, thank god his reign of error is coming to an end.
