If he’s still here for Forest then the whole board should go aswell. The pressure needs to be turned up on them as well in the next game. It won’t happen as we are a pathetic fanbase but we should be forcing them all out.

As some have said, it seems like there are issues running far deeper than just Rodgers’ ineptitude.

Hiring, remuneration, contract management, areas devoid of real investment - it feels as though a number of areas have run out of control or coordination for enough time through poor management that we are heading into a storm of the club’s own making.

Ultimately, fingers have to be pointed at those who oversee day to day operations. Susan and the board have taken their eye off the ball while focussing on infrastructure operations.

Total silence and lack of accountability from the board. Even if things are a mess behind the scenes / negotiations with Rodgers re compensation are underway, come out and say something.

Sat about with thumbs in their asses waiting for something to happen, nobody taking responsibility for the mess we’re in.

Manager? No

players? No

board? No

Nobody knows (or at least can say) what is going on behind the scenes

We have no other option but to sit tight and hope he goes or things improve on the pitch

Suspect something is going on, but imagine that is just me expressing personal opinion rather than anything tangible.

You have

make noise, post in socials and talk about how the idea of well run club has collapsed

point fingers at owners and board and ask for explanation how this(club in compete shambles) has happened

idea of sitting in silence and trusting our "beloved" owners only lead to relegation or in best case scenario club will be bellow average team for years to come

None of this would be happening if Vichai was still alive, Top should be ashamed of himself, ruining his fathers legacy.

Much as it pains me to say it, I'm starting to come round to that way of thinking myself, and it makes me feel uncomfortable.

Can categorically tell you that when you refer to 'the board' there's only really one bloke who matters or two if you include his brother.

They own their individual departments but have very little sway on footballing matters.

You put far more stock by your own importance than I do my own, you are acting like it is so form of democratic construct where it clearly is not

The clubs social media posts this morning pushing their new fashion range just about sums up the current state of leadership at the club. We are just a brand.

Those prices aswell :nono:

There are people outside of the club, but who work closely with them, who would be involved if something was happening behind the scenes. It doesn’t appear to be. They usually let me know, but they appear to know nothing currently. So either they’re keeping quiet, which is possible, or more likely, nothing is happening as of yet. Not sure how bad things need to get before something is done.

I almost don't blame Brendan in that he's in a win-win situation. Why would you walk away from that pay-off?

Yes it's morally sh*** and he's held the club to ransom. But ultimately only the board can end this now and the longer they leave it the more detrimental it gets.

There is absolutely no guarantee we would come straight back up from the Championship either. We should know that better than anyone

Absolutely right, didn't see Chelsea fiddling about while Rome burned and collapsed all around them.

Straight to what they saw as the root of the issue and surgically removed it.

Meanwhile at Leicester new depths of ineptitude both on and off the field are being plunged.

We'll be past the point of no return if it continues so all true city fans should be concerned and make those concerns known.

When your dog, instead of viciously barking at and snapping its jaws around the burglar’s legs, bounces up to the burglar, its favourite toy in mouth, and begs to play?

Brendan and our board at the moment.

I feel the club’s progress is blocked by a board that prefers just to drift.

What to do about an unhappy manager who’s stuck valuable players in his deep freeze and names avert-your-eyes lineups?  Kick the can down the road.  What to do about aging or badly injured stars?  Extend them expensively, and hope it works out against the odds.

LCFC always planned and executed player transactions mindful that they will peak (or want to stay) in any situation for a few years at most.  So we sold at peak value or the two-years-left mark, having scouted multiple affordable, quality replacements.  We’ve now abandoned that model to other clubs.  We were, in retrospect, too late in cutting ties with Schmeichel, Tielemans and Soyuncu, ensuring negligible returns.  We extended players who hadn’t proved they could return from ligament injuries.  It's easiest to stick with what you have -- no club gets all the decisions right.

But you have to make the decisions.  The value of the squad is being destroyed at an alarming rate.  Come this summer, it could be half of what it was two years prior.

I know Vardy is our GOAT, and I enjoyed watching him pull an inexperienced defense apart Sunday.  But a club of limited resources cannot afford to dedicate the biggest chunk of its payroll to a guy who may be a shell by the last year of his extension.

We aren’t skint only because COVID slammed KP and reportedly halved the owners’ fortune.  We’re also skint because resources are being wasted.

Looks more and more like Khun Vichai’s decisiveness and forward thinking are missed.  He left us with top-end infrastructure and proved you could be both a family club and a tough competitor.

We have to return to our model of being the best at finding, developing, and selling young talent.  The best at accepting and managing the need for constant change.  And that will require tough, sometimes unpopular decisions.  In other words, leadership.

Board members are elected by shareholders, I haven't gone through the articles but presuming King Power own 100% of the club, so whinge all you want but it's likely only Top can fire the rest of the board. Unless Susan Whelan is a majority shareholder (v. unlikely) it's down to Top. ''Sack the board'' in priciple would require Top to fire the lot (or some) and replace.
