FFS no visa for Faes, it doesn’t appear to have affected any other clubs. I’m trying to remain positive, but off the pitch there just seems to be not a lot going right at the minute.

Every time things like this happen you have to question things. Especially after Silva gate.

The FA Cup win seems to have covered over a lot of cracks since Vichai left us.

The board are right. They gambled on ECL, rightly. We came close. We missed. Now we have to trim the wage bill. The squad should be good enough to hold in the Premier League for 2-3 seasons whilst we reset. If it's not that's on Rodgers.

If that was true it’s to end June so without the summer window

and it indicates that even a sale of a fifty mill olayer last summer would still have shown a loss of 70m!

I’m calling bullshit OR a the club are getting rid of a load of one off losses whilst they can still claim a covid effect ???

The board need sacking along with Rodgers. What an absolute mess. Complete mismanagement and everyone should be axed for it. It’s a disgrace.

Might be an unpopular opinion but it’s time for Top to sell up.

I’m sure there is some method behind the madness. KP and Leicester were Vichai’s making. Regardless of how astute he was, there must have been a host of great business people around him.

Whether or not Top has the same business acumen as his late (great) father, many of the people who built their business will still be around.

Like @st albans fox said, there could be a reason we want to operate such a huge loss in last years accounts. Maybe that’s wishful thinking.

Clearly relegation will have a huge effect on the club and trouble could be afoot in that regard.

I think people may be reading too much into the lack of summer signing. Of course it could be financial issues, FFP (wage bill) will have definitely been a factor… but it could be as simple as, the squad was seen as good enough to finish mid table and consolidate.

The board weren’t convinced the manager will see the season out and didn’t want to grant him huge funds until he’d proved he was still the right man for the job.

Last season began with concerns over the style of play, the signings, and the abysmal capitulation in Europe - and knocked to a competition Rodgers didn’t even know existed. The warnings for the board were clear and they became more obvious. And then we had Forest.

Not to have acted then or now makes them complicit in this farce. Not to have addressed genuine concerns other than doing a match program piece is yet another serious miscalculation that adds to the frustration and anger building in the supporters.

I’m not calling for them to resign - but if they persist with Rodgers for any longer then I don’t think they can be considered fit for purpose. The situation calls for clearly communicated decisive action and all we’ve had is inaction and nigh-on zero communication.

It’s deeply troubling that Rodgers can call them out in the media and nothing happens. Combined with financial tales of woe and plans for the best stadium in the Championship, it stinks of some major league cøcking up going on. The board’s credit in the bank of me has run desperately low.

Hence my earlier comment “spineless” which is a massive concern with someone with that importance of running a football club

I know the board can't really say,

"We would remove the manager we just can't afford it"

How long before large numbers of attending fans are booing and chanting "RODGERS OUT"

It may not improve things but they can't get much worse.

far too much complacency across the board (excuse the pun)

We have rudkin living off of a maguire sale. not even held truly accountable for signing a player past a transfer deadline. Honking contracts offered across the club and given a free pass because we’ve signed a few promising players (ones he may have had no part in finding to begin with)

We have susan, who is just interested in winning awards and being best mates with the big 6 clubs. Probably more bothered by her reputation than that of the clubs.

An owner who, i’m sorry to say hasn’t stamped his authority on the club. He’s followed through with some of his dads visions and that’s great, but he needs to build his own legacy. I love the guy and hope he has a vision that will truly bring us to where we need to be but the hesitation and misplaced loyalty will be his downfall.

we have academy managers in positions for far too long without really showing their ability to help improve our players.

It’s the simple things that worry me, not making sure we can get a set piece specialist recruited in time for the summer. not being able to find a head of recruitment for this summer as well… maybe glover is the chosen one, but no club can sit still for a summer in the prem

Then there’s the total disconnect from the fans of the club. It feels like commercial decisions are being made without thinking about the fans. where has that line of communication gone. don’t forget who pays the bills.

even the away shirt took forever to release, there’s still no explanation to why that happened it’s just a little weird.  A lot of clubs would have a kit ready to go at the end of the previous season. We’ve lost a summer of sales and once the season starts a lot of fans will think, heck i’ll wait till it hits a sale by december.

There’s a lot i’m starting to question and i know i’m not in the loop behind the scenes and my slander of susan may be way wide of the reality but that’s what happens when your club continues to make questionable decisions.

We appear to have the same problem off the pitch as we have on it, there’s a lack of mental toughness and that’s a real shame because you need leaders behind the scenes and not just on it.

many have said perhaps we are looking for that next manager and ordinarily that could be a good thing, but when things are toxic… you just need to remove the root cause and that’s obvious to everyone. one more game of brendan is just one more loss. I’m sure a caretaker is far more likely to get us the result we desperately need. Not to mention the fact that every time the buffoon opens his mouth he slanders another aspect of the club.

i’m not a fan of giving a free 3 points to a potential relegation rival. The board should be demanding he is gone and save some of their integrity.

We are totally unaware of what is going on behind the scenes and why.

They own the club. You do understand that means they’d have to sack themselves in which case we’d go bankrupt overnight?

I can’t believe they have watched that game yesterday and not sacked the manager the day after. Unless there are legalities delaying things then their lack of action is unprofessional and shocking.

And where precisely did I call for them to “sack themselves”?
