Not offended and I despise  a lot of the others just as much and give them just as much stick. He’s not the only **** by any means.

It's important to despise as many of our own players as possible, it shows true commitment.

His celebration was brilliant, any happy clapper even slightly irritated by that is way too much of a snowflake. He got the winner in the 90th minute, stop being so woke, it’s irrelevant how he celebrated.

Also thought his laughing when he came on to booing was funny

Yeah I don't rate him in the slightest but don't see the furore over his celebration

The entrenched dislike of Faes from some reminds me of the super-weird anti-Pearson contingent!

Anyway, he'll be starting most games unless he gets sold. No world-beater, but our best option.

So many here keep saying the same thing...

"He's a bellend"
"He thinks he's better than he is"
"He thinks he's Maldini"
"His attitude stinks and he thinks he's above us"

Is there any evidence of this? Genuine question. Because it's highly likely that I've missed something he has said or put on social media etc.

Exhibit A was his agent putting a video on LinkedIn last season trying to flog him

People just forget that players can give it back too. He got booed, even after scoring.. and I was one of them ill hold my hands up.. but the celebration made me laugh and I actually thought good on him

Totally agree.

Helluva alot of people create an image of somebody they simply don't know. Pop psychiatriaty, but maybe pinning stuff in him due to their own frustrations

Tbh, I've never ever heard the guy speak,.let alone speak ill of anything or anyone

I think this is a key factor.  When our seasons have gone to shit there's always been talk of him wanting out. Last season there was an agent fed rumour that he had an agreement with the club that he'll be allowed to leave if we were relegated.

It's not something that should get out, true or not. The focus should be on doing what you can to stay up,  not on how you'll escape from the sinking ship.

"Shortly after the 4–0 home defeat by Brentford, the agency of Wout Faes posted a highlights reel of the defender on social media describing him as “a master of anticipation”. It included footage from a 4-0 defeat at Everton"

Clearly our best CB, plays every game for me, couldn't care less about his "attitude"

Its the same every season, plays well the first 5 games before nose diving off a cliff. Looked unreal for beginning of 23/24 before being at fault for about every goal we conceded towards the end of that year

He anticipated we would lose 4_0 👍that's what he must have meant

Sorry I can't get behind faes unless it's with a doc Martin to kick him out the king power

One header doesn't change that

Got no problem with his celebration. He got roundly booed when he came on and then scores the winning goal.

It’s seemed to me he was having a go at SK1, they tend to lead the crowd in booing players. I’m in SK2 and nobody around me was booing him.
Dont think it helped that our so-called supportive singing section in SK1 were singing “we’re going down” etc 10 minutes into the game.

Is this a joke?
