Errr .... yes it is. Name me a good, honest, hard-working, enterprising, proficient and fit-for-purpose politician who places public good ahead of their own interests/agenda.

This is absolutel horseshit peddled by the standing government just to keep themselves in power through the incumbent effect (which is notoriously strong in the UK) though, let’s be honest.

 

”They’re all shit” or “they’re all as bad as each other” or “there is no genuine alternative” is a centuries old tried-and-tested tactic by the status quo of the day which is solely designed to keep the status quo in power.
