That’s the issue when running a high press. Players get tired, make mistakes and then there’s loads of gaps on the counter attack. This season the same thing has happened to Liverpool even. It’s nature of pressing as a tactic. I think we need to get better at sitting in. Even tonight, we’ve given a poor Forest side a lot of chances. It definitely works when attacking but I’d love it if this team could also sit in 15/16 style too. Not for the whole game, but for 10-15 minute spells to catch our breath. 1
