When your first choice defender is out, and you pick your tenth choice centre back with a wooden leg to play……

Has this been Photoshopped?  Man looks like he needs a child’s seat.

It's says  alot about the state of the club when we dont care about a win and some want us to lose.

No.

It says a lot about some 'supporters' if they don't care about a win and some want us to lose.

I don’t think I can ever willingly want us to lose a game BUT if there is a silver lining in this happening meaning Rodgers and his inept coaches get the hook….there have been worse outcomes.

How anyone believes that Rodgers is the man to turn this slump around is a bigger mystery to me.

This mentality is getting a bit out of date now. Fans are entitled to feel disillusioned at what is happening at this club at the moment. We’ve got a shit bag of a manager who is destroying us from the inside out, and a board that are taking loyalty far too seriously, to the point where it will ruin us.

No fan would hates the club, we hate what’s happening at the club. If a shafting from Palace that finally makes the board see sense and Brendan gos then it maybe a good thing. There’s still time to turn this around, but the longer Brendan remains clinging on like a dingleberry, the more chance we have of getting relegated.

This is the first time in my life that I genuinely don’t care, I’m not going to the palace game, not because I’m a “plastic” because it would be another weekend away from the family watching us get shat on, and I’d rather not go and let my seat sit empty that go and watch us get beaten, again when I could be doing something more worth while.

Something has got to give, and sometimes as  a fan base you can twist the arm of those who matter. Standing there clapping and shouting “good effort lads” after another defeat is plain counter productive. I’m not saying booing is, but at the moment you really can’t blame fans.

It’s acceptable if you’re genuinely struggling, I.E you don’t have the finances or the players to cope, however this simply isn’t the case with us…. This entire issue has been engineered by Rodgers, his handling of the squad and his not lack of motivation to do the job. This is what is unacceptable, and I’d rather show my disgust at this. Our football club is being ruined, and is going to get relegated, which will be a monumental disaster, potentially with irreversible damage.

I'd never want us to lose but I can really see why people don't just want us to lose but take a hiding - Almost to shake some out of their apparent trance like state

It's imperative that we win tomorrow though and I think Vardy really needs to score as well as he's the one that can get us to safety

It’s imperative we win but with Rodgers in charge we won’t. Get him f**king gone Top!

It’s so distasteful to have him in charge and with his sound bites pre and post match, I bet the players must be dreading going to training every day, or maybe they just don’t listen to Brendan anymore.

If Amartey comes in for Evans, I honestly give up. We deserve to go down

I just knew we could fit big Dan into the team somewhere. Thank goodness for that.

We’ve already taken thrashing’s from Spurs or Brighton though. What I don’t get is why anyone thinks a thrashing by Palace will make a blind bit of difference.

Personally I think you’ve got it the wrong way round, it’s the ones who say “I hope we lose so the board realise” who are the ones with the out of date mentality, Fair enough to those who were at that point in August, but it’s ludicrous to still be saying it now.

Most of us have realised now that it’s not going to make a difference just like every other defeat isn’t and the board aren’t getting rid of Rodgers whatever happens, and it’s far more vital to get points on the board.

Fair enough, and that's a bit different to actively wanting us to lose.

The board will have a limit of course they will. And it’s more likely to be suffering losses to the likes of Bournemouth and Palace.

But this blind faith that we will somehow start putting points on the board is misplaced. We won’t, Forest was a one off, mainly because the lads knew they really could lose that one, and had to dig deep themselves….

The fact that people are still hoping a bad result will get Rodgers booted is just evidence enough of how ludicrous a situation this is.

Nothing will change until he is gone, and the club will be a very unpleasant place until that happens.

Absolutely no one has blind faith we’ll put points on the board, where has anyone said that? People just hope for us to start putting points on the board given the options because we’re fast getting cut adrift. It’s an infinitely preferable option to willing us to lose when it’s clear that losing isn’t going to make any difference to Rodgers’ situation.

People have been saying “I want us to lose so Rodgers gets sacked” for months now, then we do and he doesn’t. I don’t know how people can still stick to that train of thought.

Brighton were at home.

I'd concede if we were at Selhurst Park but I can't see Palace going away anywhere and scoring 5. They aren't that good either, no doubt they'll be more solid than Forest but people are jumping to this conlusion because of how bad we are. Go on the Palace forum and see how many of their fans think it will be an uninteresting draw. Football predictions are always funny because people only really consider their own side.

"Crystal Palace went on to win the game 6-2" :D

I mean, Top clearly has blind faith.

I just want us to lose to spite Rodgers this point. I want him finished.
