Got a feeling Evans is out for a few weeks, either things get a whole lot worse or we stumble across a better defensive system somehow.

I don’t think rodgers can organise a defensive structure - especially when we don’t have a fit CDM

cant say ive been all that impressed by evans for some time tbh.

One of the worst offenders for sideways and backwards passing, i'd say a high percentage of his passes have been to Ward.

Whether that is by instruction or a personal decision :dunno:

He has the highest amount of long passes in our squad this season.

No I've not either but we might be even worse without him. I wonder if he'll give Albrighton a game otherwise he's naming a new captain, which best be Maddison.

To be fair I think he’s been pretty terrible so far this season.

Interesting.

Think it was the Southampton game he seemed to exclusively pass to Ward, I should know really, I ironically jeered and was shouted 'pass to Ward!' every time he did it.

I haven't based my opinion on that one game by the way, as I say to me he's one of our worst offenders for sideways and backwards passes.

Pumped about this match. I get to watch Braybrooke sit on the bench. It’ll be good experience for him. He could even hum Zak’s birthday wishes for a bit of player-crowd interaction.

Rodgers was apparently going to play him tomorrow but realised there's a Papa John's Trophy game in the week so has agreed he can play in that instead.

Hmmmm. I guess that could mean more league experience for him if we go further in Papa John’s.

Taking my Son to his first ever Leicester game tomorrow, and despite the circumstances and chances of victory, we are very excited.  He never misses watching a game, but as we are based in the States, this is his first chance to go in person, I feel like it's a bit of a passing on of the baton and I'm proud.  So, I would love a win, even though I'm not very optimistic.

Dont you worry the Palace Ultras will turn him?

How old is he?

Maybe wait for Millwall away next year, good basic training for US political gatherings.

Does that include big hoofing backpasses? Might be time for further analysis on the stats.

6.30 am kick off which means my internet should be good..... bollox.

We still have good players and it could click tomorrow but we are easy to predict. Even if we win I suspect it will be a false dawn.

If Evans is out Cags and Iversen please, dont care if they aint good enough, i want to be entertained

It’s a novel strategy, replacing one player with two.

With his record, it was always going to happen at some point. But the reality is Evans is well off the pace, and he's not a good leader. I said preseason he looked absolutely knackered and he's not got much better. This could be one of those season defining moments where Cags and Faes gel, and Faes shows great leadership potential. Or he plays Amartey and Faes has no fudging clue how to deal with it.

Either way, i think its going to be fun :nigel:

Most of us have realised now that it’s not going to make a difference just like every other defeat isn’t and the board aren’t getting rid of Rodgers whatever happens, and it’s far more vital to get points on the board.

.....there is another viewpoint that goes along with this, and we seem not to focus on it!!!

We are so driven by Top's reluctance to do the right thing that we are blind to what is on the other side of the coin. The flip side is that Rodgers does not want to be here, he wants out and we see Top as the answer to all our questions but Rodgers I believe is the more likely to shatter this impasse. None of what is happening is good for us as well

as doing him no good at all, available positions are coming and going and he is not being considered in any instance.

Large defeats are not going to force Top's hand but it puts pressure on Rodgers each time.

Evans has been dreadful. He’s well past it, another player we should have replaced in the summer, not promoted to captain.
