i remember when Lee Dixon started on MOTD2 more than a decade back he was really good, insightful, a really good voice to have – now he's going on as some Lawro tribute act who probably thinks coloured boots are for "jessies" while Sam Matterface reels off his puns with about 100 degrees of separation. So shit.

What was the first FA Cup Final you remember?

Chelsea vs Middlesbrough in 1997. The Di Matteo goal in off the bar after about a minute?

42 seconds I think. Was the quickest FA Cup final goal until Saha scored for Everton in 2009 after 25 seconds.

I do like Mowbray. Good manager, very Inoffensive. And for an “old boy” plays fantastic football.

Great fit for Sunderland really!

100% this. He went from very insightful to complete shit instantly, dont think there was even an inbetween stage.

In an era where players like Conor Coady and Tyrone Mings have been regulars in the squad, Lewis Dunk can consider himself very unlucky to have just the one England cap imo

If the MacAllister one is a possible red card offence, why does VAR not review it? (I know why but it makes no sense). The rules are a shambles regarding VAR. Refs made an error, but because a foul isn’t given, it’s not reviewed.

VAR could be a fantastic asset to football if it was implemented properly.

If that was a Brighton player doing that then that's a red.  It's just big team bias yes again, and it's not even hidden any more.
