Should be bossing it at this level. His workrate has been poor this season.

The last time I saw him close anybody down he was playing for Man City.

Get rid, he is disgraceful at the moment and has been for far longer than we would like to admit

Will score for fun. Apparently. Poor most of the time, idiotic for the rest. Just get rid in January and put the whole thing to bed.

Don’t think he will go in January - he’ll wait for a free at the end of the season

Dropped off, looks too casual too often. Have previously rated him but he's not looking up to.it.

I hope Cannon can be a real alternative because we're lacking in the striker role right now.

And thus would have done exactly what I said he would. Just another who runs down contracts who fans invested too much into.

He’s suddenly not going to have a right foot or be able to control the ball first time.  If the manager wants to only play this style then no point having Nacho in. 25 precision passes for Nacho to break down play or lose the ball with his first touch.

The same when KDH gets the ball, surges forward only to hold on to the ball for too long and then pass slightly behind Mavadidi or ignore him unmarked. Then other games both players will thread amazing passes and score a screamer. No consistency in their abilities.

I see his problem is his lack of aggression, he's so passive, he just wants to come deep and play flicks and tricks. Today a cross came in, he was a few yards off the defender and could see the ball all the way, all he needed to do was take a few steps, rise above the defender and nod it in, but he just watches the ball. He's no good in the box against no nonsense defenders, move him on please

Fair comments.
He was so casual with that chip over the keeper on to the post. All he has to do is get it on target from a few yards and the angle is not that difficult. That was the three points, but he appeared unconcerned with his bad miss and costing the team. Lacking focus imo.

The only way he'd score was with a chip. By the time he'd broken free of the tussle with the defender he was quite wide and their keeper had narrowed down the angle significantly.

So no issue with missing that chance, but a big issue with every other facet of his performance.

He may have been wide, but it wasn’t difficult to direct the chip towards the gaping goal. Personally thought for a professional player it was a poor effort. If he’d been on his game and hungry that ball would have been in the back of the net.

Anyway, it’s history now, but agreed every facet of his performance found wanting.

At this point I hope he's gone in January, was convinced he would come good but he just can't be bothered. It's difficult for our strikers to get clear chances given how we play but even when he's not getting chances he doesn't even seem willing to run, on multiple occasions today I saw him standing in a position where if he took a couple of steps forward he would cut one of Boros passing lanes, but he just didn't care enough to do it, low and behold they pass in that lane multiple times and he just walked/jogged around watching it.
He needs a fresh environment and we need his wages off the books for a replacement. Love Nacho but the step down should have made him shine, if he continues like this it will be a very sour ending.

His first touch is hideous, backs out of challenges, painfully slow, poor decision maker and a mediocre finisher.

But apart from that he’s one of the best strikers we’ve ever had and with the right team will score 25 goals a season and we will be really sad to see him leave to any premier league club that wants to pay his wages… right

Not your “typical” centre-forward. And often “looks” (emphasis) too casual.

Yet (apart from Vestergaard’s header), worked our two best scoring chances- only to be denied by a reflex save by their GK and the post. Perhaps that’s why Enzo left him in. He (sometimes) can have a subpar performance and still find his way to the back of the net (or thereabouts).

Meanwhile, the amount of times he dropped way deep (even to virtually the edge of our eighteen yard box) to pick up possession and try to bring others into play has to be purposefully by design. Otherwise, Enzo would have chewed his ear off - and most likely yanked him off.

It’s time to take off the blue tints when it comes to Nacho. He’s never really been good enough. This team needs a prolific striker.

He was being man-marked all game, so I wonder if that was a way of making it awkward for the person marking him and pulling boro out of shape.
