I'm enjoying watching our team play again 🥹🥹🥹

 

We look so much more solid with Faes, and it's lifted Ward and Amartey too. So pleased for them all.

 

Maddison is on fire at the mo, as is Youri. I mean that goal...sensational. And some of Maddison's dribbling was like he was slaloming through Everton players. Delightful!

 

Credit to Rodgers and the coaching staff, we've certainly turned a corner. And long may this run continue.

 

As a side note: this league is ridiculous. Earlier this afternoon we were bottom...now we're thirteenth 🤯🤨.

Ward deserves some credit, he looks a bit more confident these days and has kept another clean sheet. Seems to me he’s coming for crosses a bit more assertively too.

Southgate really is the most boring, staid football manager going.

How the Hell he could watch this evenings game and not find a space for Maddison on the plane is absolutely beyond me. 
I can imagine a confident, on form Maddison ripping opposition defences apart

Youri would be correct. Southgate IS a moron. Seems like everyone outside of Southgate’s brain thinks Madders should be a shoe in for the World Cup, but Mr. Waistcoat knows better.

I imagine Southgate will be at West Ham next week. He has to pick James Maddison for the World Cup otherwise he’s a foolish and negative manager. 

Our best performance of the season tonight for me, all players were on it. Rodgers out managing Lampard tonight.

Made me laugh when Carragher said that England form has to be factored in (when looking at squad selection).

 

Yeah, that is somewhat true, but how can you apply this for a player who has had basically no chance?

 

I really hope Southgate was watching tonight. Not only should he just be in the squad, but I would strongly make a case for him starting. 
 

It isn’t even about tonight, he has had the most goal contributions in the league for ages now. It’s actually laughable at this point.

Great stats on Madders. He has score d the most and assisted the most (18 goals and 12 assists). Grealish has..................................7!! No one has gotten close to this guy. If Southgate does not take him to Qatar he should be dismissed for gross negligence.
