I've just received a letter from the club stating that I'm banned for the next 2 years. I sold my ticket (for £20) to some arsehole on here because I couldn't make the Leeds game due to parental responsibility. That cock has sold it on TicketStub for £200. @Magda do me a favour, contact the club and ensure I'm back there by Boxing Day. I love this club and I was trying to do you a favour. Nob.

That's awful! Hope you get it sorted mate

Do the t&c's forbid resale completely? if they do you screwed.

If not, as suggested send them details of what you done, the PM on here, and transaction info.  Plus a lot of promises you will never ever do it again.

Nightmare that pal. 2 year ban is ridiculous though. Completely over the top.

I'd try and send the club the chat history between you and that toss pot.

Also, who's paying 200 quid to watch us!

Fancy selling it to someone with one post mate.

I've said it before and I'll say it another hundred times, be careful who you are selling your tickets to. I know lads who have been grassed up when trying to sell tickets (as the 'buyer' asks for the seat numbers'), I know lads who have sold tickets and they then get resold, I know lads who have sold tickets and the buyer ends up on the pitch or letting off a smoke bomb.

Sometimes for the £20 you just think, is it really worth the hassle?

Club should also be held accountable for not provide a very good reselling platform, imho.

Shocking from the club though. Not really relevant to the post from the OP, but who is paying £200 for a ticket? Pretty sure that it wasn’t even a sell out.

I’m pretty sure if you can provide evidence of the £20 transaction then the club would overturn it, that’s a horrible miscarriage of justice.

No no no.

From my understanding if you say you've accepted any money for it, that's worse.

If you say you've given it away for free, then they might let you keep it.

Someone I know was told this from someone within the club.

Haha thanks mate. I know, I couldn't believe it. £200 for a cold Thursday night against a relegation rival. Imagine what I could've got for a decent game...😅😭

Heard from somebody at the start of this season a couple in their 50s (STHs for decades) were banned after putting their tickets up for sale whilst the wife was seriously ill in hospital.

The operations side of the club are extremely callous.

Yeah ignore me, I thought it had gone through a club run resale thingy but I read it wrong.

Damn that sucks! I rely on people like you when i am actually able to get in the country so I can actually get to games.

Been sorted out by some absolute legends before but i’ve also had a really dodgy deal with one guy. He took the cash then said he was really sick and lost it, then sent me the money back but then gave me a ticket. Not a clue what happened but there was definitely something dodgy. Free ticket was most welcome though 😂

I just assume i might not get the ticket when i do it but it’s the only chance i’ve got.

Reality is, I have no idea when I can come home  and the memberships don’t even guarantee a ticket. I’d rather gamble my money on someone selling their ticket than pay that 🤷‍♂️

Whoever has paid £200 to watch us vs Leeds on a Thursday night needs a lifetime ban an'all

Can only think it was a Leeds fan? Surely noone else would be that desperate.
