Henderson going down and the ref blowing up was a disgrace btw, legit cheating.

Was one of the most one sided games I’ve seen from a ref! Every 50/50 tackle which were won by us was a free kick for them, a few of these times were in a really good position for us! and how was Robertson not booked for that very late and potentially very nasty tackle on Castange in the first half?! Also how did he give a free kick for the blatant Elliot dive?!

Plus the time wasting at the end and no extra time added!

Terrible but typical ref performance.

So true we put so much faith in Vardy Daka needs game time definitely we can’t afford to send him on loan to get that we haven’t got the players to allow that, have we got a gem in the youth system we definitely need to strengthen in defence midfield wing and striking positions maybe a keeper too?

So long as we avoid the drop we can write this season of as a complete difference of our last few and forget it start again next august whether we rebuild again in the summer as well as a few in January maybe Top will see we need to sort out our old hairs and bring in the next generation of foxes and compete again for trophy’s Europe etc, who Knows of Top has a few Billionaires friends he can bring into the Leicester family to take us into the future who knows ??

We need to strengthen everywhere really. There shouldn't be any sacred cows when it comes to buying players to challenge for positions and we need solid cover, even if it's solid but unspectacular players in some areas as back up. I think before we worry about Europe or trophies in any meaningful sense we need to become solid again. Teams should hate playing us, whether it'e because we're mean at the back or hit teams hard and fast (hopefully both!) but that's what we have to aim for as a priority.

Then We need to go to grass roots try find another Vardy there has to be one somewhere Leicester are superb at finding Gems Vardy was the benchmark of all benchmarks, we take chances on unknowns turn them into players worth £mmm’s we’ve done it once with Vardy I’m sure we can do it again !

We aren’t in the championship currently, we can't take chances like we could, that may change, there would of been a lot of scouting put into Daka other clubs wanted him, not every transfer turns out like Vardy an even that took about 2 years to look a really good transfer.

Has anyone commented on wilf’s performance

both on Monday and again this evening, I thought his use of the ball was really improved. He looked a lot more assured in possession than he had earlier this season.

There  was one point in the 2nd half where he received the ball on the half turn and played a quick pass to feet, an I was amazed.

Did you swear at a steward?

Yeah after he aggressively came up to us after the goal grabbing one of us saying don’t jump on the rail. How can you even jump on a rail first of all? Also kicked out two young guys in the 25th minute. Seems he didn’t like it when we went 1 up

I was very disappointed when he was the one taken off. I thought his winning the ball back made us quite dangerous on the counter

Most accurate passer on the pitch tonight

That was a level of special, even by our standards of special.

Score 3 goals and lose 2-1.

You genuinely couldn't make up some of the things that happen to us.

Watch the highlights back and see how few chances we made. If Salah (sitter) and Nunez took theirs, we’d be looking at 4-1 and the conversation would be very different.
The most disappointing part was how poor we were in the second half, both defensively and in terms of chances created.

It wasn’t ‘close’ really.

Maybe I am lowering my expectations too far….but I thought we generally played ok. Disappointed that no points.  Thought Soumare did well.

Step by step soumare is becoming the player we  all hoped he would be. Best thing tonight was Ndid coming back with a decent performance and also playing well in a midfield with soumare and kdh. Good signs.

We are well and truelly gonna make the top 10 blooper reel at the end of the season heck we might even win it with all the other calamities we’ve had this season.

A very bizarro game that was! Liverpool looked completely off. We looked good aside from the goof ups and poor finishing from Barnes.

Ward - not at fault for both goals

Amartay - didn’t screw up today

Waes - comical defending for both goals

there was a scare earlier between him and ward. Those two need to work on their flippin communication in training!

Barnes - needs a slap on the head. What is wrong with this kid? (We miss Lookman)

Thomas - had his nervy moments but did enough in recovery to escape any bollockin

Soumare - put a shift in and got stuck I’m unlike against Newcastle.

Timmy - did ok could be a big better

Daka - feel sorry he pulled his hammy. He could have scored today against a poor Liverpool. Another one on the injury table

Vardy - doesn’t have the lace but can still make a great assist. Shame it was to barnes

KDH - was busting a gut atleast. At times got his feet in a muddle but atleast took his goal well.

Perez - tried his best. It’s as good as it’s gonna get with him so no point hammering

the rest I can’t remember much of. Better overall graft today from everyone. On another day minus the bloopers and Barnes fluffing every attack we could have beaten this very odd off color Liverpool side by 3 or 4 goals.

Frustrating. I thought we did well up

until the first own goal. 9 times out of 10 the first one goes over the bar, it just seemed to drop at the last minute. The second one 🙈. Struggled to create after that. Barnes had the opportunities but he over complicates things so often. The brain and feet don’t link up quickly enough. However, when there’s no Maddison, he gets less space to be effective. I thought Perez had a decent first half, and KDH looked good for the first time in months. Nice to see Wilf back (surprisingly with the armband!) and doing well. Much better than Newcastle, but that’s no level to be working from. Fulham game is very important

Some real willy pullers on this thread. The team played very well and lost two freak goals. Should have at the very least had a point. It isn't the gloom and dispair some are making out. Trolling and spoilt child syndrome is fairly easy to call out.

Sorry Col...

You concentrated on their chances & forgot ours,Barnes at least 2-3,then KDH Open goal, plus others maybes...

None but none count if they don't go in,or are made easy to save...

Same as any opposition's could haves, should haves...

The reality is that we are a mid-table Premier League club, that had a miraculous story 7 years ago and won a cup in between.

We’ve had some good runs here and there, made the most of two of our three European tours, but our average position since getting promoted has been 8-12th

We simply don’t have the revenue to compete with the larger clubs.

Rodgers and the two trophies have dared us to dream, but the reality is that we’re not there.

At least today the lads put up a fight, made us proud, gave something to cheers, and only lost 2-1 to two own goals against a team that have spent 150m in the last 18 months on strikers

I am happy with the trophy turnaround,

We really can't expect too much, and top 8-5 are real successes for our club pedigree.

What I don't like ,are our too mundane performances,& seeing Brighton,Brentford out performing us weekly...That does not mean,I am disgruntled over them, but 'we' should be bringing on a far better regular, consisten entertaining presentation...& Where last part of last season, and this new season,we should

Present good football, and show we can at least compete trying to chase down, higher covetted positions,we get that right, I am more than happy because,it is about our level...

I defended Rodgers over many many thing, these last 2 seasons, but not over consistent dross & dredgery...They are all PL players, delivering shifts, and decent movement is their Duty, trophies are not 1st or 2nd priorities...but decent

aims..

Never seen anything like it. So unlucky. Poor ref. I thought we actually played quite well compared to Monday. I don't mind losing provided they try. They tried.
