Ohh, I totally agree with what you’re saying and more a tongue in cheek comment that Rodgers clearly has the same thought process.

Just a shame that Nacho has gone back to the player looking devoid of all confidence yet it was under Rodgers that HE (Nacho) turned it around and nearly singlehandedly got us into the top 4.

Problem is we haven't ever committed to any other striker, and we're now doing it when Vardy is not necessarily as capable any more and we've got nobody truly ready to come in and replace him or no idea of a different way to play. We just shove Daka or Nacho in the Vardy role and wonder why it doesn't work very well.

They battered us. Sublime finishes!

Superb finishing for their 2 goals and the way we kept fouling them to go down like having a broken leg well what can we say, and Pawson was just such a charming wonderful example of a quality ref ! 😂🤪

Why does the man of the match always need to go to the team that won the game?

I know the injury time played in the WC at times was a farce but a) the injury time should have been more than 4 mins and b) when a player goes down injured during injury time that additional time has to be extended. Pawson couldn't wait to blow up dead on 94 mins when we were still half on the attack.

Frustrating night, Liverpool were diabolical and we gifted them 3 points. We played well in patches but that's scant consolation, when are we going to stop doing this against the better sides in the division, that's something horrid like 1 point in 9 games this season vs the top 10, we are in trouble if we don't get our act together.

Theres something wrong with the refereeing of the premier league.

VAR has made no difference to it.

But ultimately the referees can do what they like, they can ruin a game just like that, and there is no come back.

We all know about the big 6 conspiracies, to keep the smaller clubs in their place, and whether that's some sort of unconscious bias, or full on bias, it's really ruining what little is left of this game.

I really think pgmol and referring in this country needs a huge overhaul and these little examples are proof enough it exists.

Second goal was a shambles. It was our goal kick, straight to a Liverpool player, and then 2 passes from their own half and they were in on goal.

It was ping-pong, and to hang it all on Faes is unfair - the whole team

put themselves in that position.

Played really positive.

Don't know if ward and faes have good communication.  Need to improve on that

In the end Leicester scored all the goals and lost.

We move on.

Let's hope that run if the green is with us at forest ☺️

Come on Leicester :fc:

It wasn't the defeat for me, just the manner of it. Not clinical enough going forwards, not decisive enough in key moments and weak. How many times do we say this under this manager?

Clear evidence the defence not confident enough in the gk. Faes balls up followed Amartey panicking and giving away a soft corner.

Here we go again now in to a new lul with Brendan. How long will this go on for. Will we snap out of it v Fulham or do we go back to the tripe of the first 7 games?

We need probably 4 or 5 wins from here to stay up with a handful of draws.  I'm confident even with the mess we are in from top to bottom that we have enough to get by.  But the more worrying thing is, what do we do then? We lose Tielemens this summer no question.  We probably lose Madison this summer also because of our lack of ambition.  Then what?

It was only a farce for the first few games until teams realised that time wasting was getting them nowhere.

I hate actually slating players and I think we played pretty well tonight. But if we had a top top class keeper we’d be top half I reckon. I have nothing against Ward and I’m sure he’s a nice guy but we need someone better. I said all last season we should sign Pope. Ward wasn’t directly at fault today but I do feel like the defence don’t entirely trust him. We need a new keeper ASAP.

Or we go with Iverson. He should be young and hungry for the opportunity. I think Ward is an OK keeper but clearly the CB's don't quite trust him, rightly or wrongly, and I don't think he trusts them after tonight.

Thought we played quite well and a different level in every way to the Newcastle debacle. Soumare was good throughout and best I've seen Wilf in a long time. Least said about the two disastrous own goaks, the better. Typical Foxes.

Barnes was poor, so lacking in confidence. Other than him and Faes, thought the players did well. Was expecting a real humping.

I've no concerns as long as we get a new manager in who is on the same wavelength as Martyn Glover.

Aye indeed. Would be happy to see Iversen at least given a go.  I just don’t feel like Ward is quite good enough. It’s nothing more than that and not a witch hunt I just feel he falls slightly short of what we need.
