well job done and I guess that's all that really matters.

Felt so much more confident with Iversen in goal he has to play for me now. Brunt did well, though Tielemans was letting him have the ball too much instead of taking control himself. McAteer was ok playing out of position.

Nacho came alive second half and with Maddison out he has to start on the right of our front 3

You felt reassured by iverson today?

he had one save to make , he did almost nothing with his feet (cos he didn't have to) and he hardly commanded his box when they threw long throws and crosses in.  No judgement to make on today for him.

My take on the game...there’s obviously a severe shortage of dentists in Leicester

I was stood right behind these 🤣. Little lad held that scarf up all second half asking the camera man to get him on the TV again!

The match was poor, yet that is a simple, correct statement.

Is there any kind of nerve stimulus whatsoever that doesn't bring out a "dump on Rodgers" response in you?

No he’s not and I was expecting to be pulled up on that by my own admission.

However, he’s willing to comment, bring it up, note it and make excuses on the back of this, I reiterate, so what’s the excuse in every other game?

Really angry we won a game of football with reserves and kids and the manager spoke afterwards.

Furious.

Hate the Cnut.

Hope the rested players don’t win on Tuesday  in the quarter final or then I’ll be hating on the owners as well.

Thought Nacho linked the play brilliantly. Start him in the prem.

That's all I've got.

Yet another game where Iheanacho has saved Rodgers from embarrassment.

Yeah but, but... "sometimes he does something in the game which is not so good"(unlike any other player ever apparently, so he justifiably cant play him 🤢🤮)Screenshot_20230107_164316_Chrome.thumb.jpg.4420bf7faf0e357d39147ca119ec3f70.jpg

Couldn't even be arsed to drink through that shit. Wasn't worth writing off a whole day for.

Actually wasn't even worth writing off 2 hours for so I did something else woth the match on as background on the laptop so I could look up if anything good happened. (I looked up once, and left it on too long so watched a couple of adverts as well)

Silly thing, an appoinment at the dentist costs less than a replica shirt.

Probably don't have to wait as long either for dentist than trying to get one  the decent away shirts (none of this years, obvs)

We won which is the main thing, but wow that was poor, no player looked a class above and our tactical approach was pretty poor, we weren’t playing on a potato patch and yet some of our passing was woeful, intensity  was lacking although improved in 2nd half but other than winning, very little positives to take from that.

we desperately need fresh ideas as we look so stale.

Happy to see Soyuncu play and look engaged and involved, encouraging the young full backs wherever he could. He is surely at least as good as Amartey?

Vestergaard looked disinterested. Really embarrassing frankly.

I would pair Caglar with Wout on Tuesday and see if that pairing has potential

Game was dreadful. I understand the arguments about getting through being the only aim but we are so dull and unenjoyable.

You're not allowed to have that opinion though!!!!

Objective successful.

What a long day, signage was shit for the ground and ended up walking half a mile in wrong direction. Awful temporary stand which is exactly the same as when I visited 20 years ago, embarrassing..

For me Iverson done well but didn’t have much to do, Lewis brunt had a good few runs but shows his age when he gets near the area and looks nervous, Vestergaard no no no :nono: Cags was ok and like another has mentioned would be good to see him partnered with wout. Kel took his goal well and his lay offs were decent, he needs starting more often.

boring first half but like Tuesday a more positive 2nd half. Into the next round. Could ufs produce about 50 of these for Tuesday please, maybe it’ll bring some luck.. 6DB8FDE3-BD99-4407-863F-E84A2B634B2B.jpeg.688da4abf1cfd91cff10a8eddf94bd05.jpeg

Don’t think he’d be very good in goal

Too early to write him off, especially now he’s gained some confidence and coincidently got a bunch of clean sheets before the WC

Funny, I felt the opposite. I thought Cahs was going through the motions and treating it as a decent training game for fitness and sharpness

And, controversiallu, I'd play Vestergaard on Tuesday. We need to match up to Newcastle's height. And I actually think he's decent in a low block, which we are probably gonna have to do.

433. Play as many big or strong bastards as we can muster
