We’re in poor form

We have a raft of injuries again 

We played a makeshift side full of players who haven’t had much game time

We lack squad depth in key positions 

We were playing a lower division side away from home

 

Everything screamed cup upset today. That’s why the cameras were there. You just take the win and run.

 

The match gave us no cause for optimism or to relieve the current, general, depression - but neither is it a match to read anything into that we didn’t already know

Nacho's so confused though when asked to recount the goal he scored, he said he couldn't remember. Asking him to relay the managers tactics would be rather like asking Jeffery Schlupp to explain the inverse application of integral and differential calculus.

I have no doubts Nacho resited what they were told to do at Halftime, it was an unforgettable match, we won so no biggy

We need to do it quicker but there is nothing wrong with that advice. First half we weren't patient and just booted it to their keeper.

How did they let their teeth get to that state? An appointment to the dentist cost less than a season ticket and the subsequent dental work done could be paid via payment plans.

Team full of want outer's coming to the end of their contracts or under 23. Looked like we couldn't be arsed but a win was never in doubt.

well job done and I guess that's all that really matters.

 

Felt so much more confident with Iversen in goal he has to play for me now. Brunt did well, though Tielemans was letting him have the ball too much instead of taking control himself. McAteer was ok playing out of position.

 

Nacho came alive second half and with Maddison out he has to start on the right of our front 3

No he’s not and I was expecting to be pulled up on that by my own admission.

 

However, he’s willing to comment, bring it up, note it and make excuses on the back of this, I reiterate, so what’s the excuse in every other game?
