pauls Posted 7 January 2023 Posted 7 January 2023 Can't believe some Leicester fans don't want souttar as for his injury he's been back 4 months now ! Injury over and if those of you who didn't watch the world Cup he was pretty good after only playing 1 game in 12 months !! As for 15 million in 2023 it's nothing and stoke wouldn't want him to go but if you know anything about ffp stoke can't sign anyone unless they sell someone ! We are or have the second richest owners worth 6 billion and they can't buy anyone! Get the deal done ill enjoy the doubters be proved wrong !! 1

Aus Fox Posted 7 January 2023 Posted 7 January 2023 Very good player, always reminds me of Harry Maguire when I see him play. Definitely an upgrade on our CB options at the moment. Him and Faes at CB could make us a bit harder to beat that what we’ve seen for a long time. Gerrr im in 3

Electric Yetis Posted 7 January 2023 Posted 7 January 2023 Thought he looked an absolute donkey the few times I've seen him. But to be honest an absolute donkey may be a slight upgrade at the moment so gerrim in. 2
Aus Fox Posted 7 January 2023 Posted 7 January 2023 Not sure what his overall goal scoring record is at club level, but there was a period in World Cup qualifying where he was scoring every game. I can’t remember the last time a CB scored for us. 1

When you've had as many ACL injuries as we have and the relentless injuries afterwards for those players, you're well within your rights to be nervous on this. We've had something like 5 ACL's in recent years and none of them have ever got back to the level they were before, the combined worth of those players is staggering as well. 3

Nolucklcfc Posted 7 January 2023 Posted 7 January 2023 Be a brilliant signing. Adds much needed physicality and height into the back line. Was brilliant at the World Cup against top players. Really hoped we would go in for him. Wonder if it’s actually true …
Popular Post RumbleFox Posted 7 January 2023 Popular Post Posted 7 January 2023 If you don’t want to sign a 6’6” defender who looks like a farmer you might as well not watch football. Signing a big cvnt is basically up there with signing a 16 year old Brazilian wonderkid you’ve never heard of in the “let’s get excited about a player” chart. Get the big nobhead in. 18

I do not think any of us have recovered from last time we tried this. 1 6
Tielemans63 Posted 7 January 2023 Posted 7 January 2023 Can't see any potential issues, hopefully he joins us here at ACL United. 3
Ric Flair Posted 7 January 2023 Posted 7 January 2023 If the ACL wasn't a concern, I'd be keen. He is classy and a beast. 3
st albans fox Posted 7 January 2023 Posted 7 January 2023 Players recover from acl’s all the time …..it’s only our players that can’t !
KFS Posted 7 January 2023 Posted 7 January 2023 Injury history is a worry. Looks like he’d be able to make the step up though. We need some English league physicality this window. Him and two others would be nice

StriderHiryu Posted 7 January 2023 Posted 7 January 2023 For me Szalai from Fenherbache would be the better signing, but it all comes down to price really. Maybe we end with both even, because over the next 2 seasons our squad is going to look like a totally different one to what it looks like now. Usually teams don't sign too many players in the winter window, but the World Cup was always to dramatically change that situation. Look at how many injuries we have already, and it's not just us, it's starting to happen to many teams in the division. I wouldn't be against signing him.
Guppy Posted 7 January 2023 Posted 7 January 2023 Potential for a rare partial swap deal with iversen? Neil is a big fan apparently.
