This bloke was saving the day for us Aussies 24/7 during the World Cup, hoped Leicester would be interested.

Comparisons to Maguire when good looked  very accurate.

Young, freakishly tall and aggressive.

If we can get a good deal worth doing for sure, does look prem quality.

Can you tell us more about his ball to feet playing and his left/right foot aswell etc and under pressure?

Can't wrap my head around signing a CB who was deemed not good enough for Scotland when CB has been Scotlands weakest position (or one of) for some years now.

Yeah but that implies whoever is in charge of decision making at that level for Scotland makes nothing but 100% correct decisions.

The lad is highly thought of by Stoke fans, so that’s always a good sign.

I still maintain this could be our best window for some time if we get it right. We’re having to do some proper scouting, and not rely on finances… this lad would be a much better option than trying to convince some dried up, big earner to come off a bench somewhere else.

Couldn’t you make that statement about any window? ;)

Give them Vesty and 5 Million and that would be a decent deal for both clubs.

These deals are very rare, but in this case it could actually be beneficial for everyone. Even if we sent him to them onloan so they’ve got instant cover and sweetens the deal a bit.

Everyone execpt Vestergaard, who lets not forget turned down a move to Fulham, so hardly likely to be willing to drop a division.

I higher doubt Stoke would be stupid enough to pay Vestergaard 80k a week in the championship.

Their fans want a keeper in p/ex, not a defender

Perhaps Iversen will go in exchange on loan?

Does Soutter have decent pace? Only seen him in the World Cup so don't have much info about him. The way we play with a high line and press means we need someone who won't get caught in behind.

Stoke want Iverson, Alex Neil loves him... so there may be something in that - either a part exchange, or a 'gentlemans agreement' that we will loan him to them if they let us Soutar

Soutter doesn't need pace. He reads the game 10 yards, and 5 passes ahead of everyone else on the pitch

He's also the hardest man in football

Harder than Chuck Norris

Was Iversen the keeper at Preston when Alex Neil was there?

I'd rather not lose Iversen to be honest anyway. Would rather we send another keeper - maybe Odunze?
