We’re having to do some proper scouting, and not rely on finances… this lad would be a much better option than trying to convince some dried up, big earner to come off a bench somewhere else. These deals are very rare, but in this case it could actually be beneficial for everyone. Even if we sent him to them onloan so they’ve got instant cover and sweetens the deal a bit. 1

Everyone execpt Vestergaard, who lets not forget turned down a move to Fulham, so hardly likely to be willing to drop a division. 2
