I thought you only got an extra hour, so midnight would be the final cutoff

Hour for international, 2 hours for domestic

We could get it over the line at Gretna Green. Scottish deadline is midnight tonight. Run like the wind boys!

Deal sheets?

The deal sheet allows a club to confirm that a deal has been reached in order to allow for additional time to submit the remaining documentation. For a deadline of 23:00, the deal sheet cannot be used before 21:00 and needs to arrive fully completed before the transfer window closes

Once the sheet arrives, clubs have got another two hours, or until 01:00, in which to submit the full paperwork

Can't we just use cags? He's better than this big head on a stick Australian/scot surely.

He’s been dog shit since the Bournemouth game. Which is why he doesn’t play

In all honestly, the fact that it’s taken until deadline day to agree this deal is shit. Every reliable source stated that Stoke wanted £15m weeks ago. Why didn’t we just pay it and get him in?! He could have played against Walsall as his first game rather than being chucked in to a tough PL game. Or not signing for us at all as the case may be…

I can’t believe you need paperwork in this modern day. Sounds like Dickens is our Head of Recruitment.

He's hardly had a chance. He was one of the best defenders in the league at one point.

Or just get your house in order, be smart and have a deadline as an actual deadline.

I thought the idea is because stoke wanted a replacement signed, was meant to be Cook but he opted to stay at Forest right? I imagine now they’ve got Tuanzebe it’ll be sorted

It's not ideal but In fairness we have no idea what's gone behind the scenes with the negotiations, his agent could of asked for more at the last minute, Stoke might have wanted the payments or add ons structured differently to us. We were also completing other deals whilst this had been going on.
