Has anybody ever seen @Thebluefox85 and @1884Manin the same room? 🤔 Both seem to start topics that already exist and moan about threads being too old, even if they date back just one year. Fail to see how multiple threads is better than one. Quit getting so sensitive.

Spudulike Posted 8 January 2023 Posted 8 January 2023 I refuse to comment on this until the correct name for that club is used in the title. Whoever starts the match thread can they name it properly as Notts Forrest please. Cheers 3

An Away Move Posted 8 January 2023 Posted 8 January 2023 (edited) I’ve done a 180 on Rodgers. Not because I like him. I don’t warm to him and was fervently Rodger’s out - it’s just that we are going to have a rebuild very soon and I think I’d prefer to have him for that rather than have a brand new manager who doesn’t have the organisational knowledge of Leicester that Rodgers has built up. He knows the club and personnel inside out right through to youth level. I’ve heard how good at his job he is with the young ones from an insider. As painful as it is to watch us right now and as tempting as it is to sack him to get a bounce I think it could well backfire. For that reason I think even those of us who don’t really like him should back him from now through to the next season and then see where we are. Edited 8 January 2023 by An Away Move Spelling 1
somebum Posted 8 January 2023 Posted 8 January 2023 No chance the bloke has cast a spell on Top, who turns out to be a bottom, it seems 1
Dames Posted 8 January 2023 Posted 8 January 2023 We can't afford to sack him, its really that simple.
Out Foxed Posted 8 January 2023 Posted 8 January 2023 if we do go down it will probably come down to the last few games of the season - for the drama and media narratives they can push. interesting that we have West Ham one the last day. 1

It’s best for both parties if we move on, we aren’t going to hit the heights of European football for a while, and Rodgers probably wants to manage in his eyes a bigger club. Rodgers has organisational knowledge of Leicester that he's built up? Surely that's the whole crux of the problem, it needs dismantling asap! His finger in every pie approach has been a total disaster, likewise his feet under the table approach at previous clubs started a downward spiral there too.
SemperEadem Posted 8 January 2023 Posted 8 January 2023 It won’t happen. Can’t afford it and the powers at the club love him. 1
cruzFOX Posted 8 January 2023 Posted 8 January 2023 We gotta stop stressing about Rogers getting sacked or not. The only people who have the power to determine his outcome are the board and Top. We will never even know before it happens unlike other clubs. Our boardroom is as tight as a frogs ass. for now it seems we keep calm and carry on as the saying goes 1
Walshy5 Posted 8 January 2023 Posted 8 January 2023 The way I see it is Top has 2 choices. Sack him or get relegated. I know which I'd rather do.

Tielemans63 Posted 8 January 2023 Posted 8 January 2023 (edited) I think he could expose himself in the pre-match press conference, name only 9 players to take on Forest, molest a ball boy during the game, lose 6-0, shit on and then burn a Thailand flag at full time and he'd still be Leicester manager for the Brighton game. Edited 8 January 2023 by Tielemans63
CrazyKopCorner Posted 8 January 2023 Posted 8 January 2023 No he won’t be sacked even after another 4-1 drumming. It has the feel of a very uncomfortable marriage LCFC and Brendan - both would prefer someone \ something new but neither can afford to move on
