Mate it’s like asking someone whether they’d feed their son or daughter. My comment was in jest but genuinely we a better keeper could improve as could a proper right winger. We doing business at the wrong time but we need to do business because we are short in a number of areas.

Yeah, definitely but it was more if we could only one or the other now, which would be the more advantageous

Assuming we get the mother in the summer of course!

Although a low upfront fee makes it attractive I would hope the club are trying to move away from signings of 30+ year olds on £75k a week for 3 years

Especially in a position where we just need to stop with the stop gap signings which Sarabia would be, and try and get a signing in that has long term potential

We did pretty well with Evans, Huth and Fuchs signing at 30 years old. There's no way we would get a 23 year old Sarabia. We clearly don't have money to splash out on transfer fees why take a huge gamble on an unproven player at 30+ million in Gonzalez who may or may not become decent when we could have had 4 good seasons out of a quality player like Sarabia for 4.5m. Tsygnakov €5m is a no brainer too. I'd argue it's exactly these kind of signings (Slimani, Musa, Soumare, Perez, Vestergaard, Praet, Mendy, Iborra, Silva, Soyuncu since his twin turned up, Benkovic, Danny Ward, Ghezzal etc) that have got us in the current situation we are in spending 30m on someone who there is absolutely nothing to suggest he is ready to get in our starting 11 and start tearing up the league. I hope i'm wrong of course if we do sign him. Whereas Sarabia scored 22 goals and got 10 assists last season on loan in Portugal at Sporting as a left footed RW. Wolves have got an absolute bargain and a cracking player in. That's a team below us that will now finish above us unless we pull our finger out quick.

we'll focus on Gonzalez right till the end of the window, miss out and then BR will come out with the usually BS saying we didnt get all our targets and use that as part of the blame for being shit

Latest is Fiorentina's president continues to rule out a sale publicly. But they're buying Brekalo, although the claim is Gonzalez will be moved to a striker position.

Argentinian station is claiming we're preparing to bid £37m! Percy said yesterday negotiations are ongoing so who knows what's happening!

Perhaps we should just sign Brekalo from under their noses. Just to pee them off, if nothing else.

This is getting into record transfer fee territory - as much as it would be great to finally sign a winger, spending that much on someone with his recent injury troubles is slightly worrying

We don’t buy a RW people moan, we do buy one..people whinge.

whether anyone feels it’s too much or not, the club know how much they can or cannot spend. They are the ones who are aware of finances, not us.

Agreed. If we can get him in, then do it. 7 million will not be the difference between financial ruin or stability.

I can see us going for another centre back now and that being it for our january business.

Again, where are these players with terminator endoskeletons who are available for a bag of chips and a DVD of the 3rd season of Alf?

He's not worth £40mill. Move on and find someone else.

It’s took rudders 19 days to seemingly make a break through on 1 transfer…. Moving on might not be the best move lol
