Understandable as he’s obviously not the player he once was and fair play if he wants to go to start more games, he’s more than earnt that right from us, but it is still kind of gutting to see him go.

I think he still has in him much of what he had before. It is simply that Rodgerball does not require an early cross or any counter attacking play which is what Albrighton was/is good at. Rodgerball stifles attacks and is boring. The system of play just does not suit Albrighton.

Also fair enough if he wants to start more games.

Rodgers cries for not having players, but he has plenty quality players who he does not play at all including Albrighton.

I still think it was a mistake.

He'll do well there as Dike will love Albrighton launching crosses into him all game. Still would have liked him here but can't begrudge him wanting more gametime and with Tete here now, his gametime will have been very little for us.

Still a brilliant player, and I would Still put him up there with one of the best crossers of the ball in the Premier League. Unfortunately,  we have just never had the strikers that suit crosses.

If you've got a tall strong striker who can head a ball, Albrighton would have crazy assist stats.

That's bollocks. When he last played he put in a few decent crosses but they were either defended well or Barnes and vardy couldn't do anything with them.

The premier league is a different kettle of fish in case you haven't figured that out already.

They were all citing the decision to let him go as what will seal our relegation on Talksport. Although it was Adrian Durham (who despises us), Sam Twatterface and Stuart Pearce. Hardly fountains of knowledge.

One thing I have to agree on though is his influence. You can't substitute for it, and we are going to massively miss him. I don't know why the promise to let him go couldn't have been in the summer.

Because he wants game time now. It isn't difficult to understand.

I really don't understand the relevance of your answer. The club has behaved honourably towards a player of honour.

It's a great move for him. Should play every week and for a big club close to his family.

Feels a bit like Kasper though, and selfishly, I wish he could have seen out his contract and had a big send off in the Summer.

West Broms manager in the running for Leeds job according to Percy.

Bruce is still on Broms payroll, poor ***** if they bring him back after the new guy has done so well

Personally, I'd recall him (if we could?). It's all hands to the pump, and we are desperately short of wide options. Can't believe this hasn't been discussed.

It’s not discussed because we can’t recall him

Piss poor planning.

How can we let one of our THREE out-n-out wide players, go out on loan!!?

It just limits us soooo badly on tactics and formations, if one is injured, as Barnes is.

School boy error.

I bet this was done, as we were supremely confident of landing Harrison from Leeds? - if this is the case, its absolutely piss poor!
