CASTAGNE       SOUTTAR       FAES       KRISTIANSEN

MADDISON       MENDY       TIELEMANS

IHEANACHO

TETÉ                            BARNES

Good team, but I think we will start KDH over Mendy. Spurs don't play on the front foot, they are a counter attacking team and have Milan 3 days later in a much bigger game. If we get in front, then it's time to bring on Mendy, but to open them up, I think KDH's energy would be more useful.

The battle of the Harry's, Souttar versus Kane might also be important. But Kane always scores against us! Just got to stop Son from scoring against us too, he took us to cleaners in his cameo appearance in the reverse fixture.

Same team..I'm still on way too much of a high from the weekend to think we do anything but win 3-1

5-4  Saturday's team will score goals, won't stop them going in but will score.

Also not sure when Soumare is fit again, but Wilf has been well of the pace for at least 6 months if not 12, Mendy sadly just gets bypaced at pace.

So you sort of think if the CDM is superfluous just try and outscore them.

Souttar might also be better for a game at this pace, as he was the weakest of the newbies Saturday.

A lot more optimistic for this one following the weekend. Can see the logic in dropping KDH/Tielemans for a defensive midfield, but not sure that's necessary. Buendia had all the space behind our midfield, but Son/Kane/Kulusevski don't really operate in that space in the same way. Think our defence is well-equipped to handle that - Souttar free man for aerial challenges, Faes more aggressive when Kane drops deep, VK and Castagne 1v1 the wingers.

Same team as Villa, have the engine of KDH buzzing round to drive us forward. From looking at the tactics of the Villa game (and a Dominic Wells twitter thread), seems he enables both Iheanacho and Maddison to operate in the same team without getting in each other's way.

Think it'll be a proper end-to-end game, but not looking forward to Son scoring his trademark "cut in on his left and curl one in" from 25 yards as he's done the last 6 times we've played these.

Will be interesting to see how Kristiansen copes with their James Acaster look alike wide man. Impressed yesterday with his pace and physicality and looks a real handfull.

He'll also have more than two days of training with the team.

I’m betting he makes a better job of it than Luke Thomas or even Chilwell who memorably showed Son inside and watched him stroll through and score against these a year or so back
