Defensively, they are there for the taking. Equally, our defence has to be watertight, won't get away with any lapses and careless defending against Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min (again).

 

And let's face it, losing 6-2 at White Hart Lane, and having a few new signings to boot, should give the squad ample fire to go at them next Saturday.

Got away with a very slow start against Villa. Cannot see us getting anywhere with Spurs unless we’re at it from the start.

Romero being banned is great news. He's their best defender by a big margin.

Thought our defence was terrible against villa , Timmy had a terrible game , and for some reason the back four refused or could not just put there foot through the ball , Harry was very slow to move the ball on and got caught a few times needs to fix that up .

Get Ndidi in and make him sit in front of the back 4 with one job to do, win it back. Make him pick the easiest pass available every time, there’s 7 other more creative players in the line up that he doesn’t need to do that.

Timmy was poor. But Souttar has never played a Premier League game of football and had ONE training session (not at full pace due to his 'knock') with the rest of the players. He was never going to come in and be faultless. Let's be patient with him.

Hope Kristiansen in particular can play the full 90. Thomas and Vardy both showed why they shouldn’t be starting, when they came on yesterday.

I genuinely think if we can start with the same 11 that started yesterday, we can beat Spurs. 
If we can control the midfield battle, we’ll win the game. That’s where games are won and lost against Tottenham.
