Thats a bit harsh, he was injured for a chunk of that and played well against Spurs.

Hmm, I don’t agree. I’ve not seen a lot from him for a while…… I’m just not sure on him. He is energetic and gets about the pitch, but it’s just not enough for me. Might sound harsh, but a fully fit N’didi and Youri have to start.

We were unlucky in that game. Overall Man United deserved the victory and once they went 2-0 up it was game over. However, there was a patch where we played them off their own park and made some amazing opportunities. When you are on top, you have to take your chances!

For that reason we definitely have a chance against Arsenal. But it will be an order of magnitude harder than in our last 3 games. Arsenal didn't even play that well in the away fixture earlier in the season and still won convincingly.

Yes I think so. It will be tougher as they are a better team and will have learned a lot from our game yesterday. We need to do the same and take our chances.

Despite the result yesterday,  I still think that the line up we started with are the best players based on current form.

I would rather Ndidi & Tielemans & co stay on the bench for now.

Really hope Mendy gets a good run of games because he's showed that he's got some real quality.

These are better than Man Utd and unless we fix up our defensive issues it's another L. We can't keep relying on our attackers to bail us out by scoring 3 or 4 goals per game.

No they aren't we beat them 3-1. While they needed a injury time winnet to beat a tired team.

If we assume 4-2-3-1 is the selection, then there would seem to be just the two spots, (as holding midfielders), where any disagreement exists on ‘best team’ currently? All the options there have merit. Personally, I’d go  Wilf and Youri to freshen it up. And would likely snap back to Mendy and KDH, as almost a reverse of the call he made yesterday, around 70 mins. I’d get Youri back in as I think he advances the ball with more care than any other option there. 🤷

Surely there are 3 spots? Pretty much every fan disagrees with Rodgers' view that Ward should be a guaranteed starter.

No way does he chuck Ricardo in here.

Blackburn is a perfect opportunity for him to start and get some minutes in the tank.

To beat these we have to get into them early and hustle them. Do not let them play through their midfield.

They are beatable if our energy is right.

I agree , like Man.City , you don't try to outplay them , that's what they want. Get right in their face , stay compact and frustrate them. They will run out of ideas and then you will get a chance or two. Gotta take them of course.

2-4 defeat.

I hope we have learnt something from the first match and the way Everton shithoused them. I would expect a draw at least.

We don't seem to have it in us to 'shithouse' wins.

It's either entertaining goal-fests, or thrashings and getting out-fought on the pitch and tactically like yesterday.

Bring back Hamza and have all of them in there. Bring back the Puel days, as many DMs as possible.

I'm asking that we play two CDMs sp that we can get the most our of our front four.

Arsenal manage it with Xhaka and Partey.

Can’t play KDH though, he’s been dreadful recently and offers very little in terms of attack. Youri May look like he’s running in treacle, but he’s still got that one pass in him that can create a chance. He’s got to start in my opinion. KDH has been poor for months.

You say KDH has been poor for months? Who had been better? I don't think he's been any better ir worse than most others this season.

BR will not drop him for YOURI.

Youri simply can not do his running.
