It’s Dean Smith everyone. 7/4 now..

Probably because many people are putting money on him?

I think Hütter will end up at Palace now.

Should of got him in after the Brentford game. Genuinely think we’d of picked up points with him with the games after. Too late now.

Why’s everyone against Dean Smith, out of curiosity?

Presumably because he's a horrific football manager?

Just saw new odds on betvictor….

Sadler 5/4

Rafa 5/1

O’Neill 8/1

Smith 12/1

I don't think MON is great ,health wise.

Doubt he'd take job, if that's the case💙

The only appointment that would have worked was a big name who carries weight with overpaid prima donnas.

Given the results and impending drubbing next weekend, there is no name who can walk in and create a miracle escape.

That ship has sailed.

The train has left the platform.

The parrot is dead.

Everything now has to be about a manager who will lead a summer transformation and the work Top is going to do to support a transition behind the scenes and in player acquisition. Anything else is a waste of time, effort and cash.

Agreed, we're gonna lose at the weekend then we've got a mountain to climb. We may as well start working on a Championship manager to rebuild us.

The time for an interim was 24 hours after the Villa result, hopefully getting us 3 points against Bournemouth. It's past that now and by the looks of it, we won't even have a new manager for Man City anyway, which gives the new bloke 7 games? Pointless.

But him coming in with Shakey is better than sticking with Stowell and Sadler for the remaining games if there’s nothing better on offer, no?

Well people didn’t want a manager who was perceived to have failed at a premier league club, so presumably it’s because Dean Smith actually has failed in the Premier League AND also in the Championship.

I don’t mind Dean Smith tbh.

Seems like a decent honest bloke.

Prefer him to Marsch and some of the other names mentioned.

I think both choices are basically us waving a white flag and accepting relegation. Deserve everything we get for leaving it over a year too late, having little to no succession planning and being so reactive as a football club

I really don't care who comes in at this point.

We are at the stage now where we have to commit to a decision. Even if it's the wrong one, we need to make it because doing nothing is just as bad.

This is the main issue with our hierarchy. They are so terrified of making the wrong choice that they don't make any and it cripples us.

**** that! The entire ownership/board are on a major brain fart. Get someone in now to at least try.

After the farce with Marsch we don't want Top making long term decisions in the middle of a mental breakdown.

It’s a shocking indictment of the Board that they delayed binning BR and then when they made the decision didn’t have anyone lined up.

you can’t run a top professional football club that way.

they need to get a grip or top needs to clear house.

At this point you wouldn’t have any confidence about our ability to plan in the Summer.

It's not just a brain fart it's a corked up constipated brain turd followed by an eviscerating, explosive stream of brain diarrhoea!
