Kind of think it's nuts how you still see people saying it’s just Rudkin who needs to leave for all this to turn around.

People seemed almost uneasy to join in with the Rudkin out chants but far more willing with top plays polo and sack the board, maybe the penny is dropping?

In his heart of hearts, he must know he's a useless fraud.

Even if he tells himself that the Premier League win was under his watch, he'll know. He'll know this is largely on him. Deep down.

He'll know the Premier League win was built under the steam of Nige, Shakey and Walsh and the team and culture they built. He'll know that there is direct correlation between his own level of control and our downfall.

That brings me some comfort.

I don't think he will. I think he will be well aware of what's going on and his part in this issues the club has but equally he will be backing himself to come good and get people back on side. The issue is you need people around you who hold you accountable and tell you when its time to go, we don't have that. We have a hierarchy that will double down in support of each other and lay the blame at someone elses feet.

Unfortunately he is only a symptom of a cancer that has infected our club.

We could well be finished as a club, this guy has played a huge role in that.

I just can’t see how we won’t fall foul of the financial rules again next season, points deduction and quite possibly administration.

All of the above and this fraud gets a promotion.
It’s quite sickening.

If we go into administration it’s a 20 point deduction and that could easily see us relegated again to League 2.

Top trusts this guy to basically run the football club as he can't be there 24/7.

He should have been moved on following the previous relegation. It really is that simple

Agreed.
the club posts always mention they want out support. If the club want the fans onside the quickest and easiest way is to sack Rudkin now.
the atmosphere will quickly turn positive.

I felt half way through the season that if we went down, he’d surely have to resign. But then, he gets promoted. The director of football, has overseen 3 relegations in 4 seasons and has been promoted. I just can’t be my head around it.

The biggest problem at the club is the one that handed him that power. It could be taken away in an instant, but it isn’t.

I think that goes without saying. All the bad decisions have Rudkin's fingerprints on  Removing Rudkin is one move. Removing Top means selling the whole club and I can't see Top selling up.

Rudkin facilitates what Aiyawatt wants to happen, it’s as simple as that, he isn’t strong enough or brave enough to speak up or speak out that we need to change direction. He just keeps saying yes and carrying on aiding and abetting the demise and destruction of a club he is supposedly a supporter of. At what stage do you say enough is enough and either stand up for what is right or accept you are nothing more than a facilitator to the owners very own real life game of football manager.

Any DoF worth his salt would have told Aiyawatt this is not sustainable instead he has just cracked on carrying out his wishes to his incompetent best.

As I understand it Rudkin is only answerable to Top, Top is answerable to who?

Is the club owned by him or the family?

The best thing that could happen is that Top and Rudkin are removed from their positions and someone be brought in to run the club in a proper sensible way. Unless that happens then it won't be long until we cease to exist!

We all work with people who somehow get promoted and you think how the feck has this happened.

They are people who know the right things to say, keep the Bosses sweet, say Yes Sir No Sir, manipulate situations to suit themselves and are basically arsel1xkers

Do the players have a clause in their contract that their salary reduces if we go down?

Apparently we didn’t have them in place for our recent relegation, so I bet there’s no chance of a relegation salary clause. Our lot are too arrogant to think we would be in this position.

A past post from someone analysing the financial results said it appeared some of the players had reductions for relegation (I guess it comes down to individual negotiations when signing). But reductions for a second relegation are just never part of player contracts. So if you consider that we've signed no one permanently, and most of the others were signed in the PL, I think the pay cuts will be virtually £0

I think it was Percy’s recent article about the finances that said there are clauses if we go down.

Wouldn’t the clause just be “On the event that the team is relegated then the sum paid will be reduced by xx%”

So join in the Prem @£100k, reduction of say 50%, when in championship would be £50k, league one £25k??

I can’t imagine a solicitor drafting the contract in a different way

It would be nice if it was 50% of the original per relegation and Winks et al earn nothing next season which wouldn’t be too much more than they’re worth.

Exactly this. It’s an instant win for Aiyawatt to get rid of the bloke but he’s too thick to realise it.

I was introduced  to John Percy the journalist at a party last night and after being a bit starstruck, I thanked him for his critical coverage of the regime and asked him if he had ever met Rudkin. He said not but immediately said that he is by far the biggest problem at the club and holds all the power. Percy said he is just an overpromoted PE teacher but we knew that. He is a Forest fan but said he feels our pain.

Always got the impression Rudkin is an extremely arrogant guy. Just has that face.

Could obviously be nonsense from me though

Arghh now wouldn’t that be a double edged sword?? They’d be playing for nothing…. But they’d still be playing for us!!!
