With a guaranteed cricket score loss to man city the week after, this is absolutely massive. Lose or draw here and it could be 4 points plus to safety with 7 games left. To go more than one win adrift at this stage would be demoralising in the extreme. The only plus side is we have all those around us left to play still, but have we got the bottle to win any of them?

Sick of watching useless c**ts that don’t wanna play for this club constantly let us down, honestly can’t wait to have a squad that’s proud to wear the shirt, whichever division that is in. Get the mercanries out this summer, if you don’t wanna play for us I don’t care who you are please leave.

100% spot on.

running out of central midfield options. Ndidi and Mendy strict orders not to cross the half way line ! Could do with Evans or Tielemans coming in asap purely just to take the captaincy away from Maddison as looks like it’s dragging him down

This reminds me of the game at home to Sheffield Wednesday in 2007-8 when we were on a god awful run and slid into the bottom 3 of the championship. They were below us at the time and it was the “must win” of all must wins.   They were terrible and still ran out easy winners as we gifted them goals we lost 1-3.

I have got the same nauseous feeling about this game.

All those saying ‘it had to be Bournemouth, our bogey side’, then stop for a minute and consider if you’d rather us be playing Man City, Arsenal, Brighton, Newcastle?

I maintained right at the start of the season that Bournemouth are the worst team in the division. I was wrong. It looks to be Southampton.

But Bournemouth are the second worst team and it’s the ideal time to be playing them. It’s a 6 pointer!

We’ll win 2-0

Just play two upfront ffs.

We already consistently lose the midfield battle, even with 3, dropping it to two and we may as well not have a midfield at all! Just don’t play Vardy. (Urgh, that sounds awful.  )

The point is that your worst team, Southampton have beaten us twice already.. Where does that leave us ?

Any team can beat any team on any given day.
Southampton, of the games so far are the worst side imo.

I think we’ll overcome Bournemouth easily

The problem we have is we need to go back to basics 4141 with Ndidi playing his simplified screen the back four role but that means Praet would come in with no KDH or Tielemans.

The alternative that could work is 4231 with Iheanacho being the link between midfield and attack which we’re in desperate need of, but this just means Mendidi and we can’t have that in a must win.

I don’t like either, I’d go for option one but don’t bring Praet in, play Ricardo and Tete switching between number 8 and right wing, just having that bit of pace and ability in a forward position might be enough.

I think we'll beat these, just a shame that any confidence & momentum we get from it will be kicked back out of us when Mahrez & Haaland bag 3 each the week after.

New manager bounce and we’ll take the 3 points. Adam Sadler sending out a confused bunch of lads will result in another loss and that’ll seal the deal on relegation.

Who the f**k fires the manager without somebody else lined up this close to the end of the season!?
