I'd like to see Praet given a chance to play in his actual position for this one since KDH is out.

He played his actual position many times, most recently at home to Blackburn.

Setting up to 'contain', as Sadler said was the plan against Villa, surely can't be the approach on Saturday. We need to get at  Bournemouth from the off.

I know we've never never really mastered 3 at the back but given the of a viable wide right option, the lack of fit CMs, the need to get 2 up top and Maddison in a central position, I would go for a 3412 along the following lines:

Iversen

Castagne

Souttar

Faes

Ricardo

Praet

Mendy

VK

Maddison

Barnes

Nacho

I like this line up and formation but with Cags instead of Castagne.

I can’t get excited about the team with Rodger’s left overs in charge.  I wouldn’t be surprised if they play the same team (minus KDH) and the same tactics as Villa. They have zero original ideas apart from Rodgersball plan B. Plan A but better which always leads to a massive error.

Psychologically massive game.

Honestly if we don't get 3 points from this I'll save the anxiety and sleep and stop watching til the seasons over.

I agree with those that want to see Praet given a chance with KDH out.

I know it doesn't look great for us, but look through our rival's fixtures until the season's end.

All fans ars thinking the same, 'we're doomed'

It really is a lottery.

Stowell, do not play Vardy.

...I  am just wondering who decided the tactics for last night!!!

I suspect Sadler would have gone for this, semi cautious approach and Stowell would have wanted the players feeding off each other, playing front foot football.

Goalkeepers do not play front foot football, goalkeepers want the whole team back in the penalty box.  It turns them on when teams play defensive football cos it makes them centre of attention and the most important player on the pitch.

.. there has been a few goal keepers who have managed!!!

Nuno and Lopetegui being two. Lopetegui very much playing good football at various clubs, taking in Real and Barcelona.

Everton away at Man u

Forest away at Villa

West Ham away at Fulham

Wolves play Chelsea

Ok maybe all 4 won't lose but there's a very good chance that none of the 4 will win. 3 points is a must.

Like this. Can be flexible as well with Castagne able to operate as a RB with Ricardo pushing up and Maddison tucking in.

Can alternate between 3-4-3 and 3-5-2 as well or even a back 4 as above. Think it’s about the best we can muster atm. Would ideally have a quicker right sided CB but not sure I trust Amartey anymore that Castagne, and think Söyüncü is done here.

We owe these sh*t fekkers, the pathetic turnaround at their place this season, the Cags capitulation a few years back … they are crap, and now is the time to put all of that right.

COME ON LESTAAAAAA!!!! Get us out of the relegation zone this wkend and let’s start fighting!

Making KDH undroppable was one of Brendan’s many mistakes. I think he’d be a solid impact sub at this level, coming off the bench against tired legs.

He should have been in rotation with Tielemans and Maddison, but instead we try to shoehorn all of them into the first 11.

Too much too soon. And most definitely the case when it’s in the toughest league in the world.

Adam Sadler Pre-Match Press Conference vs Bournemouth

Injuries?

“No injury concerns, so nothing to report. Jony has trained this morning. Expect Youri to be back with the group next Tuesday to take some part in that.”

Message over management?

“The situation remains as it was. Mike and I will be in charge at the weekend. Beyond that, there's no update.”

Huge game?

“We prepare for every game with our usual processes. It's a massive game, we understand that, but there’s no difference to Tuesday night.”

Message to players?

“We know these players very well. It’s about us remaining positive with these players. Our job is to give them our full support, which is what we’ve been doing.”

How to change situation when you're part of old regime?

“We did work closely with Brendan and it’s a sad situation. We can only look at the next fixture and stay focused on getting the group in the right place possible.”

Bournemouth?

“Bournemouth is in a similar place to ourselves. You can see a clear identity and play on the front foot. We have to be ready. It potentially is a fantastic fixture.”

How are the players in themselves?

“We’ve had such a busy week so it was a case of getting everybody’s minds on the game. The players had a recovery day and those that played had another today. We’ll be back as a full group tomorrow. The spirit in the group was clear to see. The fans backed that up. They were loud and behind the team and we want the same on Saturday.”

Relegation battle?

“We have to stay in the moment. We’re not looking any further than Saturday, that’s our full focus.”
