I’d like to see something different for a change. Rarely see 2 up front. I’m sure many will disagree, but

Iversen

Castagne

Souttar

Faes

Kristensen

Ricardo

Mendy

Maddison

Barnes

Iheanacho

Vardy

If they can't beat this lot, well, realistically we're not beating anyone. A must for me is to leave Ndidi out, he really is a liability. Praet must come in as should Ricky, he needs to be fitted in somehow.

I for one look forward to see what new, creative ways the team find to embarrass themselves.

I’m sure they’ll oblige. 🤣

All those saying ‘it had to be Bournemouth, our bogey side’, then stop for a minute and consider if you’d rather us be playing Man City, Arsenal, Brighton, Newcastle?

I maintained right at the start of the season that Bournemouth are the worst team in the division. I was wrong. It looks to be Southampton.

But Bournemouth are the second worst team and it’s the ideal time to be playing them. It’s a 6 pointer!

We’ll win 2-0

I hope you are right. A clean sheet seems impossible with this lot currently. We have gone from a team that could beat anybody on our day to can't beat anybody on any day.

Any one that doesnt think we are going to win go chuck some money on it.

Bournmouth 7/2 to beat us.

Draw no bet is 12/5

The bookies seem confident on a home win.... lets hope they get it right!

Kelechi HAS to play, and has to play in every game until the end of the season. We need to score as many goals as possible because we’ll be conceding 2 in every game.

They play 4-4-2. 3 at the back gives you an overload. Play Barnes, Daka and Iheanacho together please.

We should definitely be playing two upfront, especially at home. I'd pretty much go with that team. I'm starting to think Thomas might actually be better than Kristensen, and I'd replace Castagne if there was someone, but generally that's probably the team for me.

I have no idea who we put in midfield...something needs to change, but I've reached the point of not having a clue.

                      Iversen

Ricardo Souttar Faes Kristiansen

              Soumare  Mendy

   Tete         Maddison   Barnes

                     Iheanacho

I'm probably Soumare's biggest critic, but I'm just baffled as to who else we play.

We need to just focus on Maddison and Barnes being our only way out of this.

The problem we have is we need to go back to basics 4141 with Ndidi playing his simplified screen the back four role but that means Praet would come in with no KDH or Tielemans.

The alternative that could work is 4231 with Iheanacho being the link between midfield and attack which we’re in desperate need of, but this just means Mendidi and we can’t have that in a must win.

I don’t like either, I’d go for option one but don’t bring Praet in, play Ricardo and Tete switching between number 8 and right wing, just having that bit of pace and ability in a forward position might be enough.

Iversen

Castagne

Souttar

Faes

Kristensen

Ndidi

Ricardo

Tete

Maddison

Barnes

Daka/Iheanacho/Vardy

Ndidi needs to be nowhere near the team again. He’s a complete turnip brain.  The same with Castagne.

They can’t do the basics and is always out of position.  All Castagne had to do was play to the flag/VAR and stay with Watkins but he slows down waving for offside when he had played him on.

Ndidi can’t do the basics. All he had to do was launch the ball.

We won’t make any progress while we still have the rot in place.  The assistants proved to be more useless than Rodgers.

Another game lost to ourselves.

Bournemouth are not a bad team and I suspect have been playing better than Leicester listening to some recent reports. Our record against them is not the best. Most importantly IMO is to play our own game and not setting up purely as a defensive unit which it feels like recently. If you are on the back foot for most of the game you will concede - inevitably mistakes will be made. We will miss KDH but can win if we play positively and don't let our heads drop when there is some sort of a setback. I really think we need someone in before the weekend to take some control because need fresh ideas on and off the pitch. I would like the physical presence of Iheanacho up front - last night we didn't win anything in the air from goal kicks and I think he could hold the ball up and link with Maddison who surely needs to play centrally.

I agree but Mendy is not good enough on his own and our disgraceful recruitment has left us with no able right winger for 5 years now. I think Castagne is seen as safe for some reason, but in our current state we can't have someone as good as Ricardo not starting.

I felt the Vardy experiment was a worthwhile one last night, but in truth he had little impact again. We have to get our most likely goalscorers in more positions to score goals (obviously) and I think those three are Barnes, Iheanacho and Maddison. So I think my team would be:

           DI

TC. HS. WF.  VC

           NM

  RP            ??

       JM           HB

            KI

As for the remaining slot, god knows. Playing both Wilf and Nampalys seems wrong. Isn't Soumare meant to be a box to box player? Could Praet do a job (in my opinion he rarely does a bad job, but rarely does a good job either)

Thomas doesn’t cut it for me, but I’d love to see this team.

Really struggling to see how Tete regressed so badly since Villa away. He looked so promising.

First things first, we need a manager to guide the team and not Adam Sadler.

I think it will be close to this, perhaps Tete in over Castagne and Ricardo RB. On the balance of things you'd probably play Praet but I could easily see either of the Praet, Mendy, Soumare and Ndidi starting. I'm almost certain our GK coach will flip a coin.

I would go:

Iversen

Ricardo Souttar Faes Kristiansen

N’Didi Mendy

Maddison Praet Barnes

Iheanacho

I know Maddison hasn’t been at his best, but I thought although he wasn’t great he got more of the ball yesterday and had more space. Against Palace he was marked out the game because he was too central.

Praet needs to play IMO. Covers the wingers well and let’s not forget he filled in for Maddison at number 10 when he was injured a few years back.

Rudkin again. Most roads lead back to him.

Absolutely torn on the line-up for this one but I hope we don't play both Wilf and Mendy. Playing both at home against Bournemouth would send out such a negative signal. I'd like to see something like a 4-2-3-1 I guess:

Iversen
Castagne - Souttar - Faes - VK
Ndidi/Mendy - Praet
Ricardo - Maddison - Barnes

Iheanacho

But if it's not working out, we need to change it quickly instead of waiting 70 minutes to react. Maybe something like a 4-2-2-2 could work. I dunno. Just trying to shoehorn our best players in positions in which they're decent:

Iversen
Ricardo - Souttar - Faes - VK

Ndidi/Mendy - Praet

Maddison - Barnes

Iheanacho - Daka

I'd be happy to see either one of these line-ups I think. If anything just to see something different. Iheanacho has to play because he's our best striker and I'd let Praet have KDH's position. As I said, both Wilf and Mendy would be too negative and Soumare would be a crime against everyone who's paid for a ticket.

My main hope is that whoever is in charge acts a bit proactively and changes things quicker if it's not working. Last night it felt like Rodgers was still at the helm.

Must win. Come on, Leicester ffs!!!
