For the first time since 97, I’m considering calling it. This season has taken it out of me…. I don’t think I’ve ever been this distant from my team, I had more pride when we were relegated to league one…..

Could tell something was seriously wrong before kick off. Victor was practising on his own and most were just doing little passes to each other. Everything looked wrong, and Madders looked seriously Mardy for the 2nd match in a row. And my god that line up! But what is worse is that it was obvious it wasn’t working in the first 15 mins. Soumare has had some bad games but this was by far his worst. Literally has two left feet and wants all the time in the world to make simple decisions. How he was not hooked off before half time is beyond me. But for him and Amartey to get 90 mins is crazy. 
 

SaS massively fecked up the last 2 games.  God knows what they have been doing since Tuesday but working on team spirit wasn’t part of it. No difference between a poor Rodgers line up and the setup today. These 2 need sacking as it’s clear they offer nothing and are clearly continuing the Rodgers rot with no fresh ideas. We have to seriously consider if Madders has the balls to see out the season. I think his heads been turned and he’s not up for it. 
 

Seems we move on to the Marsch era. To be fair, SaS has been exactly the same as the crap we wanted rid of, so Marsch could be the tonic to give us a glimmer of hope this season. I don’t see it personally, but we can’t stay with what we have. If he can weave some magic this year then he gets my backing. Someone has do to something with this bunch. 
 

If I could give a plus point, I thought Wout defended well and Iversen made some excellent saves. Iversen kicking is fecking woeful. My 11 year old son offers more, but at least Iversen can actually make a save.

I reckon it's because you know this lot are probably better than going down. Before it's always been shit, I think bringing pride into it is a stretch - but with previous relegations I've never thought we were "too good to go down." This squad is though, most of this lot have pushed on in Europe but seem content to wind down. Couple that with a board who have Lurpak for brains and it makes them really hard to back.

Been a fan since 1981, home and away for many years but the Europa campaign last season and the way Rodgers treated it, started the rot for me. I've hardly been this season, bloody goal music actually puts me off and sitting around people who will clap for no reason. Fed up with the whole 'matchday experience' and the rubbish on the pitch just tops it.

It’s a horrific feeling of numbness, of feeling everything and nothing at the same time. I think the anger and bitterness will kick in though at the plight the club has put itself and us the fans in. The anger will rise because it was staring us in the face for 18 months.

All of the strikers are pretty flawed and this is reflected by  our winger Harvey being  top scorer.

Our clubvand team has been missing managed and neglected.

What’s being produced by the club at the moment is horrific. Match day seems to be forced and engineered bollocks. From the food to the music, to the clappers to the freebies…. It’s not football, it’s fluffy shite. 
 

It’s not football as a whole though, a lot of away days are much better experiences than home games, we’re just a shambles throughout. 
 

It’s not even like relegation will hit the reset button, king power genuinely don’t know what to do, and we’re not just a thing rather than a competitive football team. The most alarming thing is how quickly it’s all changed. Which indicates really poor leadership.

Honestly no idea what S&S were thinking today:

- Dangerous Dan over Evans / Souttar. If Souttar was tired, give Evans the first half with his leadership and bring Harry on in the second 

- Soumare not only starting but getting 90 minutes. What does he offer, attacking, nothing. Defending, he was chasing shadows in the first half and shouldn’t have come back out after HT 

- Full back, Ricky P playing that far up. Looked lost

- Vardy upfront on his own. It’s not a front 3. Defenders dominated throughout. 
- Shocking from set peices. They constantly had players free around the box

 

All of the above easy to resolve. They have had 2 home games now, minimum 4 points required and they have got zero. Sadler keeps talking about being their to keep the spirits up. It looked far from a happy camp today, so they aren’t even doing that. I suppose it’s not their fault out of depth, but time to move on with a lot more of the deadwood that we are carrying on and off the pitch.

Whole club is rotten at this point. Those at the top have sleep walked us into relegation and only realised too late - Rodgers rightly gets a lot of flack but the players themselves need to have a hard look at themselves for being so abject all season. I’m not angry anymore, just bitterly disappointed in what we have become. If we got out of it from here it might be better than the Great Escape season because at least then we were in games, we’re not at the minute.

Leveraged massively against future income, a squad with no identity that needs totally rebuilt means its less than 50% we make it out of the whirlpool.

The whole match day experience has been obliterated.

 

I remember when i was young and went with my dad, it felt as though your out with the grown ups - There was atmosphere, it was intimidating, it was enjoyable. Now, as an adult, i feel like i'm going to a kids party or soft play with the little one.

 

Clappers, fan cam, T-Shirt cannons, silly flags....

 

It's probably an unpopular opinion, and it is just my opinion, but sometimes, like with the clappers and fan cam, i almost feel embarrassed sat there.

I don’t think that is specific to Leicester, it’s just a sign of the times.  Football draws in more money now, and has become more mainstream as a result, so has to attract a wide range of people.
