Unforgivable. I'm completely resigned now. They're the most spineless squad I have ever seen at any level. I feel completely embarrassed by them all.

Should we be surprised though?  When you think about it, many of the players are the same players who couldn't deal with the pressure of finishing top 4 when it was easier to do so, and the pressure at the top is far easier than the pressure of being relegated.

The team selection was awful, Sadler and Stowell should lose their jobs for that alone, you could see it not working in the first 30 minutes but they persevere Rodger’s style, they don’t even change it at half time.

WE AREN’T GOING TO GET RESULTS PLAYING WITH A 36 YEAR OLD LONE STRIKER AND A MIDFIELDER IN A 2 WHOS SKILLS ARE TACKLING AND PASSING BACK AND OUR MOST CREATIVE MIDFIELDER PLAYING ON THE RIGHT.

PLAY 2 UP TOP AND OUR MOST ATTACKING PLAYERS FFS, WE NEED GOALS, WE WILL CONCEDE, WE NEED WINS OR WE’RE FINISHED.

sorry for shouting, I’m a little upset

I 100% agree, but I think maybe Sadler and Stowell are just playing it by the book, being coaches rather than the manager and just basically following the club setup, a mixture of Rodgers style and whatever the Director of Football is saying to them right now. Somehow, there is some logic behind what they are doing, even if it leads them to doing completely the wrong thing. I imagine they aren't trying to become Pep Guardiola overnight, they are just tasked with holding the ropes for 2 matches.

To put it nicely, this is absolute nonsense lmao

Vardys had a poor season, but the last couple of games in particular, the only service he's had, has been long high balls for him to head on to no one. The most ridiculous way of using him, Daka or Nacho when they are playing up front on their own.

Souttar should've played. Tired? Did he walk back from Australia? First class flight, nice snooze.

I dare say he would have wanted to play, but apparently Sadler thought he needed a rest and Amartey has been great in training this week!  To be fair we didn't lose today because of Amartey, strange pick that he was, we lost because we were clueless, lacked the desire to win the ball first, had no composure on the ball, and had someone on the sideline who had set them up with no structure at all. It all seemed to be off the cuff, try and make something happen somehow, kind of a structure. Very poor.

He had a sitter today, a ball put in from VK and all he had to do was put his had on it and totally got it wrong, he’s had chances and missed them, he’s a legend but his days are numbered.

Could tell something was seriously wrong before kick off. Victor was practising on his own and most were just doing little passes to each other. Everything looked wrong, and Madders looked seriously Mardy for the 2nd match in a row. And my god that line up! But what is worse is that it was obvious it wasn’t working in the first 15 mins. Soumare has had some bad games but this was by far his worst. Literally has two left feet and wants all the time in the world to make simple decisions. How he was not hooked off before half time is beyond me. But for him and Amartey to get 90 mins is crazy.

SaS massively fecked up the last 2 games.  God knows what they have been doing since Tuesday but working on team spirit wasn’t part of it. No difference between a poor Rodgers line up and the setup today. These 2 need sacking as it’s clear they offer nothing and are clearly continuing the Rodgers rot with no fresh ideas. We have to seriously consider if Madders has the balls to see out the season. I think his heads been turned and he’s not up for it.

Seems we move on to the Marsch era. To be fair, SaS has been exactly the same as the crap we wanted rid of, so Marsch could be the tonic to give us a glimmer of hope this season. I don’t see it personally, but we can’t stay with what we have. If he can weave some magic this year then he gets my backing. Someone has do to something with this bunch.

If I could give a plus point, I thought Wout defended well and Iversen made some excellent saves. Iversen kicking is fecking woeful. My 11 year old son offers more, but at least Iversen can actually make a save.

Stowell and Sadler are coaches that have been asked to step up and hold the first team ropes for 2 matches. They are not managers or assistant managers. They are following the current club blueprint because that's what they've been doing for 4 seasons under Rodgers and it won't change until a new manager starts.

I doubt our DoF said 'go out there and have some fun, go for it for the next two matches and see what happens!'. More likely he said 'stick to the template, follow the current squad standings, keep things tight, and try to nick a point. Don't let anyone thrash us. It's only two matches'.

It's a bit harsh to be so harsh on SaS given their roles and brief.

One part of me is thinking S&S aren’t the ones picking the starting line up maybe Rudders or whoever, and S&S are taking training and are the mouthpiece for whoever is picking the team etc because I’m sure they both have better ideas than whoever is being the mouthpiece ?

I'm abroad so didnt see the match. Surely I misheard when someone said Soumare was in the team? Surely not? That is some cruel, cruel joke.

Because a worn out Vardy is better than Daka who is shockingly poor.

Also Nacho is better but erratic.

Vardy gets played as he's class at his best and the best we have at his worst!

Let's have a bit of respect for a champion.

And a premier League record holder.

What tosh don’t care what he’s done in the past we are going down and playing someone who is so finished is helping todo that quicker. He was class not is class. He would do more with a partner up top but can’t do anything on his own anymore. Sadly Stevie Wonder can see that more then blue tinted glass wearers

Amartey playing meant our most dangerous asset at attacking corners was on the bench. Souttar should’ve scored 2 already in his brief time at the club. Amartey got bullied by Solanke and him playing rather than big Harry was a boost to Bournemouth, a boost that was leaked the previous evening alongside the boost that we were playing Vardy on his own up front and Soumare in midfield.

Good point about Soutter to be fair, and i also think Soutter should have played.  Also right about Solanke bullying Amartey too, i shouted exactly that in one of my numerous moments of frustration!

There was no structure to that team today. Then you add in the poor team selection to begin with.

Barnes got no support which meant he was totally ineffective.

Madison gave the goal away because he was we're he shouldn't have been.

I could go on. But I expected more from Sadler and Stowell.

That was a team set up to fail today.

Every game of ours that passes we plunge to new depths. Just when you think you've seen the worst we find a way to outdo it - when is that run going to stop? I'm going into the Championship thinking we'd be likelier to drop again than come back up.

We need somebody to come in and give the club a total shakeup the way Pearson did when he first came here. This ideally should come in the form of a new director of football - but I'm not hopeful they'll replace him, so we'll just continue to go in this cycle unless we somehow luck it again.

Dreadful. Absolutely disgusting what these complete con artists have done to us. **** off and never come back.

I think that's the worst I've seen them play in a decade. Zero fight, no idea.  We are down unfortunately.

I'm still all in though,  premiere league isn't everything.

Rather see a team with some direction and scrap in the league below.  Times have changed though, might be a bigger shift than we expected.

Like I said earlier.  This is the worst Leicester City side I've ever seen relative to the division we are in, in over 30 years of supporting them.

They're vermin. I'd be almost ashamed if we stayed up.

I hate them. Utter bastards.

Nope. The warning signs were there. It was apparent when we lost to Villa in the cup that this was a brittle team. I'll be surprised if we win another game this season.

Sounds like the brief has been. Pick the worst team possible that the mouth breathers and coach 1 would suggest

Mental line up. Terrible philosophy lol

Plus side. Iversen is pretty class tbf
