Looked at the team with Amartey  and Soumare and no big Harry  in it and knew this would be a defeat.

Unbelievable  that most of the fans know yet people in the club dont.

First half Soumare offered nothing. I sat there and thought if he comes out second half I'm done. Then he trots out so I left. Pulled onto my drive as the whistle goes.

What are Stowell and Sadler taking to put that team out?

Honestly think we need a full back room staff shake up to get the Brendan sympathisers out.

I know it's hard to blame it on the caretakers but I'm astonished by how clueless they are. I genuinely think there are people on here who would've handled these games better. Is this genuinely the level of football knowledge at the club? It's unbelievable.

Leicester - the new Sunderland.

I think this is likelier than doing a Burnley. I think there's a very real chance we record our lowest ever finish in the next 2/3 years.

The good days well am truly behind us. ****ing media darling Brendan has rotted this club to its core. That was genuinely the worst performance I've ever seen.

Genuinely just seen that Soumare was picked to 'add energy' lol lol lol lol

Might as well have played Mendy to add height lol

Has one of the ‘bosses’ actually come out and said that? Can they say anything else to make me think they are more useless than they already are

Second half Soumare was great - got up and down the pitch and was one of the better players.

Yeah, Souttar was rested because of so many games in a week after returning from Aus. So Amartey and Soumare in. Bizarre.

1st half I agree - he was poor.   He was decent in the 2nd half - completely different performance to his 1st half performance, and deserved to stay on when Ndidi went off.

Anybody catch Soccer Saturday, particularly Morrison and Stelling, mocking our decision to appoint two goalkeeping coaches as caretaker bosses?

First point is Sadler even a goalkeeping coach??? Then secondly the emphasis was on what role they hold at the club. What does it matter what role they hold?? If they're the best people for the job (admittedly it doesn't seem like they are) what difference does it make whether theyre the fitness coach, GK coach, chief scout? Would guess Lars Knudsen is the best shout for us with his experience (not that I'd expect anyone from Sky to know the slightest thing about our backroom staff) but he's the set piece coach. Is that too inferior a role to step up and be caretaker? lol

An utterly bizarre decision to play Soumare. He was getting booed first half so yeah if you believe he played better second half he did, not that his improvement from totally pathetic helped the team actually do anything.

Our only hope is finally getting Youri back and KDH in there for the little time we have left. Start Soumare and you forfeit the game. Sadler and Stowell is just more of the same

I would imagine some would give fans stick for the passion at the final whistle but **** me them players needed it. Stood there like total plums.

Some of the brainless decision making. Lack of  will and fight truly put that performance in with one of the worst afternoons I’ve watched Leicester City play

I hope the next manager has a proper clear out, including of the coaching staff.

This is what infuriates me the most.

You think we'll maybe they've seen something in training. Then you realise 5 minutes in you were right. They take off all the shit, play the team most of us would have done, and start playing okay.

Keep hearing that they're goalkeeper coaches, but it doesn't require much. I despair.

Anyway on another note - Iversen had a ten minute spell where he was genuinely world class. Roughly at the same time when Amartey had a spell where he looked like a 13 yr old playing blokes football.

Rothwell some player for them - gone under the radar him

Totally agree. Rodgers had a massive part to play in our demise but the players have been just as culpable in my view. Our fans have been remarkably patient with them but yesterday's shameful display was finally the straw that broke the camel's back. Sick of the lot of them. And the first player with the guts to walk over and clap the fans - a 20 year old who joined 3 months ago. That says everything about the lack of guts and leadership in this bunch.

Billing was also excellent for them. They fully deserved to win by more, let's be honest. They looked much more motivated and organised than us.

It was patently obvious from the minute the team was announced that we would lose. EVERY supporter around me all said it was crazy to put Vardy on his own up front.

It's obvious to anyone with a knowledge of football that the tactics adopted yesterday were wrong and have been wrong all season. Hence our league position.

It clearly showed that when we finally changed it around in the second half with far more attacking intent that we were the better team.

Why couldn't our so called professional football coaches not see this from the start. Everyone else did!

The players seemed disinterested and not willing to fight for a place in the Premier League. No doubt those that leave in the summer don't really care, the ones who stay are probably on contracts with no relegation clause in them. Why should they care if they will still be paid the same?

It's the Championship next season I'm afraid, no doubt about it.

The people running the club have rotted it to its core. They enabled Rodgers at every turn, failed to act until far too late, gambled financially and now they’re about to commit suicide with the appointment of Marsch. It’s over until Top sells up

The next morning on and I am still fuming, they were just useless and gutless.
This week last year we won at PSV, you genuinely wouldn’t fancy us to win at Rochdale these days.

I genuinely don’t think we will win another game this season unless we win a meaningless one after relegation confirmed.

gone unsaid because of how we're all outraged at the gutless play we put out, but ****ing hell Bournemouths timewasting was Burnley esque. constantly running after the ball that had gone out and kicking it back on the pitch to stop any quick resets
