That line-up, ffs. Worse than Rodgers. What have Iheanacho, Praet done wrong?

I'd rather have Thomas at left-back. Soumare and Ndidi before Mendy?

Clueless.

Get someone in who understands football.

Get someone in who will tell them to play forwards.

Garbage.

Could not believe what I was watching today. Regardless of the 2 gormless so called managers on the sidelines today these players should have something about them to try and win such an important game regardless of the tactics set by the management team but even that was too much to ask.

We’re down and what a shambles, should be comfortably mid table let’s bet honest. We will be lucky not to finish bottom, cannot see us winning another game this season.

Why should we be 'comfortably mid table'?

The two goalie caretaker managers don’t have a clue that is for sure. The lineups have been bizarre we can’t go another week with them in charge

No fight no passion no commitment no urgency.  How any team fighting relegation can start with those tactics again after the home loss v villa I genuinely don't know what sadler n Stowell are thinking.  No press, no fighting for the ball or the cause.

I genuinely don't care who comes in now, Stowell n sadler can sod off take rudkin with you.

We need to start preparing for the championship now because we will be playing in it come August.

Left it too late to sack Rodgers. Backed ourselves into a position where we've had two important matches under caretakers and struggling to attract a decent manager. Too late to iron out the damage Rodgers did. Board only have themselves to blame. Its over.

Exactly right, but you can be sure that when our relegation is confirmed, the board and Top will believe its the fans fault.  They won't be thinking that they should have sacked Rodgers months ago, they will be thinking that if it wasn't for the fans turning, they would have been able to keep Brand Brendan, and everything would have been fine.  They will of course be deluded!

We're down.

Wish I could put up an argument to say otherwise but there isn’t one.

We will be down way before the last game.

I said a few days ago they would shlthouse a 0-1 win and guess what?

To be fair they didn't have to shithouse it, we just gave it to them  to save them the effort of shithousing it.

Shambles it will get more bad with Jesse Marsch

It cannot possibly be worse under Marsch. Not saying he keeps us up or anything but he’s Alex Ferguson compared to Sadler and Stowell.

Unforgivable. I'm completely resigned now. They're the most spineless squad I have ever seen at any level. I feel completely embarrassed by them all.

They have spent 2-3 years playing controlled possession football (for the majority) under Rodgers,  now they have to work hard to get the ball and it’s like they don’t have the engines for it. Blowing out their arse chasing the ball in the first half

Agreed. I'm not sure Stowell is really in a position to do as you suggest. Salder presumably doesn't report to him per se?

They are both out of their depth and should never have been put in this position.

I can't fathom how any coach plays Soumare today. Or how we don't make a change at half time, or, I don't know, start the game with a different idea to the one that has got us into this mess in the first place. Wretched.

Soumare was not great first half, but was one of our better players in the second half. Thought it was correct to bring Wilf off instead of him.

no need for 2 CDM’s for 75 minutes though when we desperately need to score goals.

Might as well give them Man City away so the new permanent manager doesn't start with an 8-0 defeat.

Comfortably probably an exaggeration but we should not look dead certs for relegation. We finished 8th last season ffs.

Whilst they may not be managers, common sense alone would surely dictate that the original line-up was going to lead to a disorganised shambles! It shows that the problem is far deeper than just Rodgers. We need a coaching staff clear out too if that's the best they can manage.

New manager, new coaches, new broom, sweep clean.

You can have the most sophisticated 5* training ground and facilities in the world but if the coaches don't match the facilities it's a pointless exercise.

Called it the other day. Said we’d lose, as did others. There is no spirit in this team. Devoid of leaders. Tieleman’s and Madders leaving in the summer anyway. Youri injured. No drive, no Pashun, no organisation and apparently no fitness either.

I have to conclude that, baring an utter miracle, we will go down.

The malaise and depression in the club seems terminal. Good legacy from Brendan. Stupid leadership from Top and the board. We will get exactly what we deserve - well, the team, not the fans. GONE.

All beat us easily. ****ing useless

That tells me we have no chance of staying up, we can’t even say we had a chance in any of those games
