If he's good enough to play, he'll play - the management team won't select him if he's not doing it in training.

I think Vardy will be fine in a team that actually gives him some service. Haaland and Benzema would look like a passenger under Rodger’s for the past 18 months.

 

Let’s not judge the team or the management too much on Saturdays performance. 
 

Effort, grit and a point would be lovely. I’ll be happy with the former two being realistic.

In fairness we should be playing every defender at the club - have four of them stand in the goal on each other's shoulders if we can get away with it

 

Just keep the scoreline as low as possible to protect our goal difference and move on to the next game.

A fresh Mahrez, Foden, Alvarez and a dictat from Pep to absolutely not **** up at any cost will mean they put minimum 5 on the board. I think 4 -1 or 2 would be a great result.

Come 5pm tomorrow Brendan will be powering up his PS5 and setting up the Leicester team in ultra defensive mode for the 5.30pm kick off v Man City. Mrs Rodgers will then take over the controls for the Leicester side allowing Brendan to take notes and engage in bursts of small clapping. Soumare won’t break a sweat, Amartey will have a number of brain farts and the only time Ward handles the ball is each time he picks it out of the net. Man City 6 -0 Leicester City. We were unlucky said Brendan in his post match interview. Pep has spent many pound notes so it wasn’t fair and certainly not my fault. Losing by only six here today is one of the biggest achievements of my illustrious career.

Interesting comparison, considering Wigan are/were a bogey side for Man City, beating them in the FA Cup Final a few years ago, and also in the 6th. Round the following season.

Genuinely a blind person could see that starting vardy is consignment to the championship , coming on with 15 mins to play well why not if we might need a goal

Has Vardy won a 50-50 ball all season? He doesn’t get into goal scoring positions anymore and defenders don’t respect him anymore…sigh
