Stuart Broad is literally the last person I’d choose to have in in this atmosphere.

Air head who thinks he’s gods gift.

Good. Make the grounds a cauldron, make it nasty.

The Aussies pushed it there, and not joining them there isn't going to help England at all.

as pietersen said - it’s too pally - I don’t think it will be now but do we have the players to make it ugly

He doesn't decide when the ball is dead. Watch the keeper, follow the ball and make sure they have no attempt to do anything.

Agreed - it’s pre meditated which is why I mentioned Mankad

KP is wrong about far more than he's right but I do think this will rouse a lot of folks both players and support.

Which, as I said, I don't mind at all.

There’s a difference

england bowling short of a length but Australia targeting the batsman head height is not the same

No difference.
It’s more difficult from the Aussies.
Australia have quicker bowler’s.

But if the umpire didn't call the over, what's the issue?

It's not usual to see something like that, but it's also not against the rules?

As I said - spirit of the game

How long before we have players feigning injury to get a draw ?  Look at golf where players call foul on themselves - cricket has gone a long way from the old days where batsmen walked.  I dont mind that so much because we have snicko etc and third umpire to police it. players can’t always be certain they nicked it.

Monumental over from Stokes.

Question is can he keep up the anger driving this and can broad/the tail keep facing the odd balls without making a mistake.

It's going to be interesting watching.

If Stokes leads England to a win here, is it better than the Headingley heroics?

Toss of a coin stuff, really.

We were probably slightly worse off in this match?
