Let’s be honest, we’d be all be lauding it if it was the other way round.

And yeah, if anyone thinks the Aussies aren't ruthless cvnts then they haven't been paying attention.

England could do worse than making sure they use the dark arts where possible too.

Nothing wrong with it, I'm afraid. It's not like Carey waited till Bairstow thought play had stopped.

What about sportsmanship? Again, same old Aussies.

Carey threw it before Bairstow started walking. What's the actual bad sportsmanship?

Clearly they'd seen Bairstow doing it few balls before.

if you’re not going to have any ‘spirit of the game’ then the rest of the series is going to be tough

you can equate it to mankading - if the Aussies are unhappy that Bairstow is wandering out of his crease then they should indicate it to him - it’s not like an off balance wander to a spinner - he’s marked his guard with his foot to indicate that in his mind the ball is dead.

there is no equivalence between this and the starc catch - the Aussies will push that narrative

Broad having a go at Australia for bowling short. Exactly what England were doing.

Yeah what did he say 'it's better cricket when you bowl length' lol

Ashes might die in this test..

English foolhardiness…over 2 Tests..

Aussies claiming a catch that was no catch..

People getting fed up of the boringness of the obvious…

exciting cricket until the Aussies win,and England cowtow to their own incompetence..

Fully on Bairstow. Didn't even look at the keeper and wandered off.

Again, amateurish stuff.

in his mind he marked himself in by scraping his foot inside the crease before he wandered off

stokes won’t get us to 370 but at least it’s something to cheer about before the game is done

Good. Make the grounds a cauldron, make it nasty. The Indians have taken them on in recent times by getting ruthless.

The Aussies pushed it there, and not joining them there isn't going to help England at all.

He doesn't decide when the ball is dead. Watch the keeper, follow the ball and make sure they have no attempt to do anything.

There’s a difference

england bowling short of a length but Australia targeting the batsman head height is not the same

But if the umpire didn't call the over, what's the issue?

It's not usual to see something like that, but it's also not against the rules?

Absolutely. By the letter of the law, it's out.

It's not cheating, it's being ruthless cvnts.
