Some proper pish being talked here. The last test was lost due to multifarious factors, of which the declaration was one of the smallest. Secondly, England took about 8/130 today from the short stuff, so blaming that is also nonsense.

It happens, but this is why you shouldn’t give your wicket away when you do get in like England did so often in the first innings. The game would have been much closer and the scoreboard pressure not as intense.

I just think it’s been some iffy decisions all round. One of those has been preparing flat, dead pitches when they have a team of batters in form and they have a better bowling attack than us. They are the best test team in the world but we’re making it far easier for them than it should be.
