I can't see myself watching many premier league games if we are not in the league. We're in a situation where we are seeing the same team winning the league every year, obscene amounts of money are being thrown about and the media are only interested in a handful of clubs. It's just not for me.

I've not been watching it at all this season other than live home matches. Won't watch it at all next season either. Easy when you don't pay Sky/BT.

I knew every single Championship player when we were in that league but would struggle to make more than 10 from the season just gone.

I'll probably go back to paying much more attention to the football league and watching the odd MOTD and the big Premier League games.

I'm already a proper casual with PL these days - only the big games and games of meaning towards the end of the season aside from the ones we play.

That'll likely continue just with the top clashes. Not sure I'll consume much Championship aside from our games and the teams around us. Will be even easier for us if (IF) we were storming the top of the league and didn't need to worry about anyone else.

No, I thought I'd keep watching championship when we were promoted but I've probably watched under 5 games since.

When Leicester aren't in a league it doesn't interest me and I'm certainly not paying to watch the Prem. This applies to all cups as well. Not being interested in FPL will be the biggest shitter, had so much fun and torment with it over the years.

I will be canceling peacock plus at the final whistle v West Ham.  Will still watch a few of the matches that don’t require the streaming service.

Yes. Ws watching it even before we were promoted back to the Premier League in 2014. Our eventual relegation won't change that.

Nope.

Although watching Man City is a bit of a guilty pleasure, so might tune in to their games.

And Palace and Fulham are pretty accessible to me if I need a live fix.

But more likely will watch way less footy and therefore be a bit more productive.

I’ll probably watch MOTD when it looks a good one but apart from that I don’t watch that much live football anyway. Perhaps with us being away from it we can enjoy watching the big games knowing it’s not going to impact on us. First things first I want to start enjoying going to watch us play, been pretty dour for 2 seasons now.

Will watch every MOTD and the big games as usual, but if a game in the championship is televised that has any slight relevance to us in that league I’ll pick that over the Prem.

I remember missing CL games as Championship games clash so that will be a shame as I do enjoy them. Leicester over anything though.

It’s the best league in the world so absolutely. Will probably root for Man City to win it all.

How do people watch Championship games in the US?

I use to have a real interest in the championship (and League One) when we were down there. I dont have any knowledge of the league now. I use to enjoy watching games when we were there - completely stopped within our first year and concentration was very much on the PL. This year, I've even lost interest in the PL apart from games which concern us. I expect the same will happen if/when we go down and the Championship becomes the focus of my attention.

****ing Don Goodman on commentary.

Yes definitely, champions league and PL is the highest level of football in the world. For now concentration turns to finding good a championship stream provider, got used to having all city games at the press of a button for the last 9 years.

I barely watch men's football at all these days - just a few of Leicester's games this season.  I didn't watch a second of the World Cup (10 year old me would never have believed that!) and haven't watched a non-Leicester PL match for a couple of years.

At this moment, and assuming relegation is confirmed, I'm actually quite interested by next season in the Championship.  I'll probably watch more games if we go down than I would if we stay up, but I won't take any interest in the PL.

I watch most games currently, and probably still will if they are on Sky, BT, etc.

But next season (if we are in the Championship) I probably won't go out of my way to find dodgy streams for some games like I have done this season

As I have sky sports I will probably watch some. But recently I’ve found myself watching less and less Prem games. Probably down to Leicester being shite. Be nice to watch MOTD again though
