AjcW Posted 16 May 2023 Posted 16 May 2023 Be a cracking weekend for my family if the result is a draw and it pretty much sends us down and ****s their champions league hopes 2

Popular Post mod hero Posted 16 May 2023 Popular Post Posted 16 May 2023 I hope Tielemans has played his last game for us. Utterly pathetic 4 1
goose2010 Posted 16 May 2023 Posted 16 May 2023 If Kel and cags are even half fit they have to play. Drop maddison and put Kel in behind vardy. Go 3 at the back with wing backs, our wingers do F all so might as well use Ricardo and castagne there. Iverson Souttar Evans cags Ricardo. castagne Mendy sourmare kdh Kel Vardy Barnes, Tielemans, maddison have all mentally checked out so don't play them. Faes looks broken and Tete doesn't fit this formation Kel not fit stick Praet in. Cags not fit stick Amartey in KDH not fit stick anyone in other than the above. 1
TMELcfc Posted 16 May 2023 Posted 16 May 2023 Anyone worrying this could be a new prem record… 10-0 🤦🏻♂️

I mean its likely he’ll get released at the end of the year and be making up the numbers in a League 2 squad so yes it could definetley get worse

tickler28 Posted 16 May 2023 Posted 16 May 2023 Iversen Ricardo (RWB) Souttar Amartey Evans Castagne (LWB) Mendy KDH Praet Vardy Iheanacho 1
Leeds Fox Posted 16 May 2023 Posted 16 May 2023 If Newcastle is Maddison’s summer destination, I genuinely don’t think you can play him in this one.

Popular Post TheFish Posted 16 May 2023 Popular Post Posted 16 May 2023 Geordie in peace here. If we beat Brighton on Thursday, it could be a bit of a carnival atmosphere for our final home game of the season. Hoping that Sean Longstaff will be fit to help us defeat Europe-chasing Brighton to ensure Champions League for next season. 18 months ago, if you told me I'd earnestly type that out I'd have laughed in your face. After the season you've had, I wouldn't blame anyone who decided against travelling 3 1/2hrs on a Monday. If anyone is travelling up and want some pub advice or suggestions for somewhere to grab a bite to eat, let me know. No such thing as an away pub in Newcastle, you'll all be welcome anywhere as long as you don't act daft. Even the Strawberry (The Home pub) will be welcoming if you're canny. Genuinely hope you stay up (despite a relegation improving our chances of getting Maddison or Barnes), would much rather relegation taking out Everton and Fat Sam. 9 1
Larry_LCFC Posted 16 May 2023 Posted 16 May 2023 I dont know why we are even bothering to cling onto any hope of surviving. We will turn up with another half arsed performance and get battered. Smith hasn't got even the slightest clue how to get this team firing or even what is required. We turn up needing a win and will start some deep, defensive bullshit that'll inevitably result in us losing. 1

Infact....you can have them, regardless.
Finn Claw II Posted 16 May 2023 Posted 16 May 2023 Pick any 11 first team players in any positions, we’ll still lose but imagine Iverson tearing down the wing or Barnes forced try and bully Wilson. Or Armarty at CB - oh wait

Corner flags are going to be busy trying to keep his shots in play.
TheLittleBigMan Posted 16 May 2023 Posted 16 May 2023 Really looking forward to this. Might take my mind off my chronic leprosy.

Wymsey Posted 16 May 2023 Posted 16 May 2023 Hopefully they beat Brighton and they could rest on their laurels a bit, knowing a Champions League place has been achieved.
