Everton drew today and I predict they will lose their next fixture. Leicester only need to win once with our superior goal difference to pull this out of the bag.

Surely we can beat West Ham and perhaps draw Newcastle?

All clubs get a shock result from now and again. We deserve this one, this season. We need a last hurrah from the boys.

Put the crack pipe down

I have a funny feeling with Evans coming back in and Nacho hopefully available we will turn up here.

Even last week having Evans leading from the front made a difference for the first 30 mins or so. He was marshaling the defence and we looked decent until they scored.

That’s to finish above Everton, we need to finish above Leeds too who still have 2 games, it can be done with one win ok but Leeds would just need to beat Bottle’m Crapspurs at home to make that insufficient.

This made me chuckle.  A name of a team that sums them up, but is just close enough to the original that you know who it is.

Like Penchester United, or Li-VAR-pool, but better.

When was the last time this team won an end of season ‘must win’ game?

There won’t be a last hurrah.

What a sorrowful club we have become.

An absolute shitshow of a club we have become. At least Forest have some real spirit and a decent coach, and they had 18 new players.

Our owners didn’t give a f**k, so this is the consequence. BR wasn’t bothered and the players weren’t either. Nine great years that has lead to square one.

...Forest were the one who were underachieving!!!

How it took them thi long to get a team to play together I just do not know. The brought in 22 players at the start and I  believe more in the January window, it beggars believe why they were where they were.

If every single one of our players gets a personality transplant and the stench of Brendan Rodgers is somehow eradicated overnight then we still have a slim chance I agree. 🙏🤞🍀

If you think Bournemouth are beating Everton at goodison and spurs are beating Leeds at Elland road and then expect us to actually win a game of football, then you my friend are the most positive person on the planet.

Am I missing something? As far as I can see it, Evertons goal differance is -2. Ours is -18 so we are not 1 win away. Unless ofcourse there is a 17 goal swing in that time...

We are not one win away. We need a draw on Monday, a win on Sunday, Everton to lose their final game and Leeds to lose this week and next.

No we are not.

we have 3 options, win both of our last games (unlikely)

or both leeds and everton lose both of their remaining games and we win v west ham then we stay up on goal difference (possible)

or we get a point everton get a point and lose their last game and then we win on last day and they lose (and leeds lose both their games) and we stay up on goal difference (also possible)

no theres 3 ways as i said above but we need to not leak goals

That's the thing , even if the players bust a gut in the final matches , we are almost certain to concede so both matches could end up as draws and that will not be enough.
